It’s so hilarious. Yes, those “18 million” who came through on Election Day 2008 for Obama are going to go back to Hillary in 2012, and a primary challenger to the first black president will totes win the nomination without significant support from the minority base of the party.

Seriously, if it weren’t for the fact that more deserving people need the work, I’d be advocating for a CCC-type project to put bored clueless pundits out in nature clearing brush, building trails, etc. Then at least their mothers’ birth pangs will have been worth the effort.

Really, I read a RW blog today salivating over Hillary running like the aliens on the Simpsons. And they made references about her answering “the Bat signal.” Now is that nice? I ask you.

And it truly is a perfectly wonderful image, too. Ideal for hanging in any breakfast nook.

My question is:  What non-snowball’s-chance candidate will the Firebaggers back instead of either of them?  Kucinich?  Jonathan Tasini, going national after his repeated success in getting 2% of the vote here in NY State?  Or will they just throw their support to Palin, who they’ll say is really a libertarian, and thus almost a progressive?

That’s just not right.
