Who’s next? All of them.  Sooner or later.

Congratulations to Dostis & Kletecka and everyone in Vermont (Iowa is snickering at you and calling you copycats, ignore them).

The only way this could be better is if Gov. WATB Douglas slips on a banana peel, busts his coccyx and has to sit on one of those rubber rings for the rest of the year:

Tuesday morning’s legislative action came less than a day after Douglas issued a veto message saying the bill would not improve the lot of gay and lesbian couples because it still would not provide them rights under federal and other states’ laws.

If there’s an award for Biggest Concern Troll, he wins. Oh well, here’s to more Republicans whining because they’ve come down with a serious case of FAIL.

Psssh, legislature…  Here in Iowa, our judges are real men who aren’t afraid to legislate from the bench.

In your face, Maple Syrup Boy!

Meanwhile, my California is overrun with Mormon h8-mongers. Who knew…

Meanwhile, shameless god-bothering douchenozzle Rick Warren is trying to rewrite his history and join the side of the angels. Why do people make shit like this up when there is video evidence anyone can access that makes it clear they are telling bald-faced lies?

How odd. If he had stopped here:

In the first place, I am not an anti-gay or anti-gay marriage activist. I never have been, never will be.

He would have been all right with a little weasling. (“Hey, I never said I was against people who are for gay marriage!”)

But why the lies? I mean, back when the Internons were just a twinkle in Al Gore’s eye, people who held bigotted views and changed their minds were very straight (hur) forward about saying yes, I once believed X but now I know X was wrong and I’m sorry (see for example George Wallace).

Now, when it takes five seconds for someone to prove you’re a big fat liar, people like Warren regularly cough out huge lies (which I’m pretty sure is a sin). What I really don’t get is what’s in it for him. This is only going to make the knuckledraggers angry because he’s betraying the Baby Jesus and he’s going to get Zero love from any lefties. Maybe he’s angling for an invite to the White House.
