Au some.

And the sad part is that is not a kid’s handwriting, but probably the proud, homeschoolin’ parent.

I know homeschooling gets a bad name from these types and its sad.  Some of the brightest, most inquisitive and well-adjusted kids I ever met were where home-schooling was done really well by parents who had half a clue.

Agree with Gimmie. That homescholing (sic) “teacher” could probably stand to read more than just Sarah Palin’s facebook page.

Besides, Real Americans, ones who think Homescholing is too liberal and support Noscholing instead, support Debra Medina, not that communist Rick Perry.

How you gonna have public schools when you eliminate the property tax?

Debra Medina also apparently believes that the only good government is a police state.

They sure have some strange ideas in Texas.

If teabaggers ever gain control of the public schools, homeschooling will become the norm among intelligent people.

It might be ironic.  Like the pregnant woman with the “Nixon’s the One” sign.

Oh, who am I kidding?

What do you mean…“if”?? It’s a fait accompli.

Media Matters Action Network sent Melinda Warner to the recently concluded Nashville Tea Party convention as an attendee.  She gathered comments from a number of true-believer attendees, and there are some real doozies.

My ‘favorite’ (saw it on twitter, which alerted me to the MMAN source post):

Throughout history, Christians have always been the ones on the right side. Slavery was ruined by non-Christian slave holders. The Christians who owned slaves treated them well.

Zoiks!

If you wanna go over there and do some teabagger scat analysis, might want to put on a hazmat suit first.

There are not a few arseholes who think this country is one cunningly crafted argument away from the return of Smilin’ Sam’s Darkie Depot. Nice to see they’ve found a home.

It was Simon Legree’s Non-Stop Negro Dance Party…until the god-damned Zoroastrians showed up.
