That is unequivocally the best thing I have seen on a blog. Anywhere. Ever.
Genius. Lambot has made all further mockery of the corrente whiners superfluous.
Congratulations, Betty! You’ve created quite possibly the single most powerful argument ever for mandatory Emo-Blogging Helmet Laws.
I just checked that Open Left thread to see if it was still rolling. John Emerson was full of *thwack*:
Not a single word that you or VL posted on this thread or [last] week’s thread had anything to do with the topic of the thread. You started off last week by assuming that I was an enemy and demanded that I prove otherwise by agreeing with you on a topic I didn’t know much about, and which involved denouncing my friends on your say-so. And you kept at it.
That was uncivil, asshole. Civility isn’t just about avoiding bad words, regardless of what your Sunday School teacher told you. I started off quite mildly.
As far as I know this is the first time I have come to dislike an internet acquaintance entirely on the basis of the way they behaved. Usually there’s an element of disagreement, but in this case there’s no real reason to believe that there is one. It’s just you and the way you work.
Bravo.
And Betty, of course, gets a chorus of hearty bravos for this masterpiece.
Damn that’s funny.
I have too many favorite parts to call out just one, but I did like it when the VastLamX4000 said: “I’m trying to engage you.”
“My God—it’s full of ponies!” is one of the finest lines of whack dialogue ever written.
Weeping with laughter. So damn good!
+100, Betty.
that was 992 years ago when human beings still had fragile endoskeletons
It’s a complete delight.
Sourbot 3000 isn’t going to enjoy the teabagging references either, I suspect.
Thank you so much Betty. You utilized every one of his cliche idiocies perfectly.

Well, there was a huge one missing and I hope the sequel (hint, hint) addresses it: Quell surprise.
Betty, you should submit it as a video response to this.
Oh man, I can’t view it on my Blacberry unless someone drops a youtube link or something, hint, hint. Otherwise I’ll have to wait until I get home later but from the comments here it sounds like you did a heckuva job, Cracker.
Here ya go, lawnguylander:

“What the hell is a teabag?”
And speaking of, did any of the Brave Populist Knights of Correntewhiner ever actually show up at a tea party and then report back to their tens of readers on their efforts to build common ground with the Obama-is-a-Socialist-Kenyan-Nazi crowd?
Sweet Robot Jesus, it even looks like him.
Thanks, Kevin. So funny. I was only able to get the intro to load but that was enough to crack me up walking down 34th St. I think since Obama was in town today Hope Enforcement, Wireless Division, was jamming transmission of anything the filters picked up that reeked of True Progressivism. I’ll have to talk to them about installing a satire permission module.
I don’t think he knows where the library is.
