LOL, I used to have a cat that would sit around with her tongue hanging out too. It was like she would just forget it was out. Cats are odd creatures.

Hubcap is a very beautiful and gifted intellectual.  The protruding tongue simply means s(he) is ruminating on the futility of human endeavor.

The tongue sticking out is a good thing. It usually means they’re quite comfortable and happy in their environment. Ricky does that when his purrs sound like an idling Hemi 426 motor.
