Attention Starved Santorum Does Not Appreciate SNL’s Notice

Wahwahwah, poor little Ricky Santorum is being bullied by mean Saturday Night Live.  This sketch, which parodied the format of the recent GOP presidential debate, which seated candidates according to their standings in the polls, put Santorum all the way out to a {gasp!} gay bar in San Francisco while Bachmann and the Newster shared the relative comfort of a broom closet.  (Closet?  Hmmmm.  What are they gettting at?)

Little Ricky was NOT amused!

“We’ve been hammered by the left for my standing up for the traditional family and I will continue to do so,” Santorum said. “The left, unfortunately, participates in bullying more than the right does. They say that they’re tolerant, and they’re anything but tolerant of people who disagree with them and support traditional values.”

I don’t know, though, Ricky.  At least it’s some attention.  The donors haven’t been giving you much of it lately.  Look for a resignation press conference, complete with sobbing children, any time now.

After reading this: http://motherjones.com/politics/2011/10/columbus-clevel and-ohio-unemployment

I really needed that chuckle.

Ron Paul broadcast from a parking garage security cam was the best part of this.

Comedy is not bullying. It just feels like it.

What Strange wrote.

Also, too, the Santorum character got, what, five seconds of air time? If anything that sketch probably helped him gain at least five votes.

To review:

When a person who is running for the highest elected office in the county (and arguably the world) says we should build a fence that will kill illegal immigrants dead - FUNNY!

When a comedy skit includes an actor portraying a vehement homophobe in a gay bar - NOT FUNNY!

To apologize for this horrible lapse of manners we should all search “Santorum” and click on the first result. (But maybe not from work.)

They say that they’re tolerant, and they’re anything but tolerant of people who disagree with them and support traditional values.”

What he means by “they’re anything but tolerant of people who disagree with them” is “they refuse to change their minds and agree with people who disagree with them.”

I’d love to hear Santorum discourse on the “tolerance” of those of his constituents who have called Obama a traitor, Muslim, terrorist, foreign national, illegal immigrant, affirmative-action slacker, enemy of the U.S., etc., etc.

Everyone knows there’s no crying in baseball.  Why?  Because being a crybaby is not a traditional family value.  How can he not know this?

Look for a resignation press conference, complete with sobbing children, any time now.

I don’t know, it would be really, really hard to top that picture. But we all know, Sicky Ricky is all about being more bombastic each time around.

tho i can’t wait to see what matching outfit the daughter and her dolly are wearing this time around.

Did you catch the part where the guys in the white van kidnap Ron Paul and replace him with an exact duplicate?  Hah!

“The only thing worse than being Santorumed upon is not being Santorumed upon.”

“The only thing worse than being Santorumed upon is not being Santorumed upon.”

I don’t know…I think being Santorum might be worse.

The left, unfortunately, participates in bullying more than the right does.

Uh, nobody on the left is shooting at Republican politicians, so “frothy mix” should STFU.
