Definitely better than the original.

RJ: I think Obama is doing the right thing. He’s letting McCain imprint himself in the minds of voters as a negative old grouch while Obama stays above the fray. Remember, first impressions are hard to dislodge, and most people have only now started paying attention.

I expect Obama will start slamming McCain on his lies after the convention, once impressions are formed. The strategy reminds me of another boxing great: Muhammad “Rope-a-Dope” Ali.
