I used to curse the stupidity of millions of my fellow Americans for being dumb enough to elect a tee-totaling halfwit like George W. Bush on the theory that he’d be the candidate they’d most like to have a beer with. The asshole doesn’t even drink! He’d probably sit there and tell you how Jesus personally wrenched the bottle of Jim Beam out of his hand while you were trying to enjoy your beer! But if they want to elect Obama because he’d be fun at a BBQ, I’m cool with that.

I’m also very disappointed with Obama over the FISA vote, but not enough to stop donating time & money. I know the beautiful losers over at Kos and elsewhere are talking about a loss of enthusiasm, but the real test will be in the upcoming fundraising totals.

It’s possible that Obama glad to get this stoopid FISA vote out of the way early.
