Growing increasingly desperate, and in the absence of anything germane to add to the national discourse, after the tone-setting intemperate outburst last week, Palin‘s Twitter hack has continued the rapid inexorable descent into sub-Benny Hill double entendre:

When I saw that Sarah is outsourcing her folksy non-sequiturs to the previous Great Right Fart-in-a-Bathtub, I laughed and laughed.

First, because it’s Fred—whose much-hyped candidacy for President was over the moment he announced he was running.

And second, because it’s Fred—whose wife no doubt presses his stimulus buttons like crazy, in the same desperate hope.

I’m glad you covered this, Brit.

Well, it was either that or the altogether more tawdry episodes of Blair being pelted with foodstuffs and shoes on his Papal Warm-up Grand Procession.

And I’m not about to condone such a wanton waste of resources.

Not when they keep missing.
