Best. Jumbotron. Performance. Ever.

Supposedly this went down during a Celtics game and was grabbed from the live Jumbotron feed. Ray Allen does this to people. [via Missing the Moon]

SIDE NOTE: I haven’t felt like blogging lately due to some bad news about my lil’ buddy Hubcap (she’s really sick ... more on that later), so many thanks to Bettty Cracker, marindenver and Mrs. Polly for keeping this joint rollin’ while I’ve been taking some time off. They’re the best.

MORE: They love Jeremy Fry in Hungary (with video evidence this really went down).

So amazing…so amazing.  Fuck the depression, we got each other and that’s a lot! Oh-ohhhh…

Dear Sir,
Despite the amusement I gained from this gentleman’s enthusiasm, I cannot ignore the fact that I now have a Bon Jovi song stuck in my head.

When my attorneys make contact, don’t struggle, they haven’t had fresh meat in weeks.

Sincerely,

HTP

HTP,

Legal could use the boost of new clients.  It’s been a struggle for that whole profession recently.

HTP, this song is prominently featured when my kid plays Guitar Hero, so just count your blessings, pal.

Sorry to hear about Hubcap, Kevin. Keeping fingers and paws crossed over here.

Oh, noes! Not Hubcap! :-(

We have a new cat at our house as of October ‘08. She’s all gray and we named her Gracie. She does that tongue thing, too, and I think it’s the cutest cat thing ever.

Sending best thoughts to Hubcap and your family. Hope she’s okay.

Best wishes to Hubcap and you.

If I’d been at the game with that kid I think I’d sit in another section the next time. Just sayin’

Little Stormy, who had his first visit to the vet on Saturday, sends his best wishes to hubcap as well.

Yes, he’s still hanging around, no one has claimed him and we have become fast, fast buddies. He’s definitely not a year old, constantly remains in contact with me when I’m at the apt. and really digs the hippie-earth-conscious-good-for-you cat food the Lady Friend brings over.

Here’s to HubCap and her fast recovery.

Hubcap….

Oh, I’m sorry to hear about Hubcap. She’s obviously an incredibly sweet little beastie (and a dead ringer for my Maggie). I hope all goes well for her.

Kevin, I wish you the best with Hubcap.

Kevin, Sorry to hear that Hubcap isn’t doing well.  Our Frank, if he could type, would send her an encouraging note.  He’s fixed, so the note wouldn’t contain any nastiness.  He would say, “rowwwrrr, rot nn rrowrr” which means, feed me, let me out, let me in, put me down or get well soon.

i’m sending my best to hubcap and her laserbeem eyes - hope you guys are ok

Everyone, thanks for the kind words regarding Hubcap.  I was going to write a post about her, but one of the enemies of Rumproast has taken to mocking her illness in a post, so I’m going to keep this issue somewhat private.  The long and short of it is that she’s getting an ultrasound done of her heart this afternoon (they suspect heart failure) and based on what we find out we’re going to have to make a decision or two, including the dreaded one. I greatly appreciate your support.

Best,
K

I’m so sorry to hear that about your kitty, that’s so hard.  Thinking hopeful thoughts and wishing you strength.
