The generation gap was pretty apparent too. The confused ones were all older.

As a member of the older generation, I think this was f*ing awesome. The torch has been passed.

Wow.  The expediency of the “human microphone” leads to a hypnotic form of incantation much more powerful than a single person droning on with a bull horn.  It’s inspiring.

Love it.  We ARE the 99%!  Say it loud, say it proud!

Betty, thank you for this. It reminds me of several movies and at the same time a reminder that we can actually make a protest. Like did in the 60’s-70’s.

Whether it makes any difference in Congress (not at all) or makes a difference in voting (maybe but not right away) but makes a difference in 2014 definitely if the momentum is maintained.

Of course, in the meantime, the GOP may have implemented martial law to “maintain law and order”.  This is definitely part of the GOP game plan along with the current state level massive voter suppression and the national refusal to pass any legislation that would employ workers.  It’s all disgusting; but do enough voters understand what’s happening to them?  I wonder.

I initially thought this was cool, then I saw that Althouse hated it.  Now I feel even better knowing it pissed her off.

I love the fact that the attempt by the 1%er audience to drown them out by clapping petered out rather rapidly; total win!

Heh.  I hope these bastards are starting to get nervous and check their rear view mirrors more than they used to.

That was fucking glorious!
