Crack up

Terry Gross’ interview with British comedian/actor and recovering drug addict Russell Brand yesterday on NPR’s Fresh Air was really funny and highly recommended.  This was my favorite line from it, which Brand said in all earnestness (at about the 15 minute mark):

I don’t know if you’ve ever taken crack, Terry. It makes you do some very, very eccentric things.

Terry Gross. On crack. Too funny.

I just walked home listening to this podcast, and Kevin K. was right.  People were looking at me funny because I was laughing to myself walking down the street.

The context of that quote makes it even funnier.

Russel Brand actually was very impressive, and not just for a crack/heroin addict.
