This post by TexasDroolin at Flowbee‘s Fortress of Fucknuttery claiming 200,000 Germans were lured to Obama’s speech with crap rock and pork knuckles is funny enough as a stand-alone (yes, they’re playing that game again), but the comments really knock it out of the park, especially this one:

LOL! Oops! I posted the whole thing below as my son was a listener of The Decemberists until I went and did some research on the group.

Yes, it’s censorship in my home. However, I’m not paying for that kind of crap to infilitrate my kids. So it is back to Three Doors Down for him and my peace of mind back.

I researched this so called indie lit-folk rock music with their “songs” that weave tales of giant whales, seafaring and legionaries, don’t YOU worry. No way NO HOW will I have music encouraging my child’s imagination in THIS HOUSE!
Imaginations are elitist left wing socialist constructs!

Nope it’s back to mind numbing, soulless middle of the road ALL AMERICAN radio ROCK for my boy. And more importantly my piece of mind!

If his/her son wasn’t a closet liberal before, he sure is now! Nothing “infilitrates” teenagers faster than telling them what they can’t listen to.

Who knew the Decemberists would turn into the new Dixie Chicks? I knew those references to the Tempest were too ‘leetist.
