Dead bug blogging

image

A (tragically deceased) Tropical Queen butterfly: It apparently expired peacefully on the arm of my porch chair—no marks of foul play that I can detect. Poor critter. But it’s still a good-looking bug, even though it has joined the Choir Invisible. We should all be so lucky.

Please consider this an open thread and feel free to refudiate malfeasance on any topic.

Thanks, “progressives”!

The fragile excrescency of that butterfly buggers the imagination.

Barbecuify it?

I grieve at the necropophizing of such an one as this antherial beauty. It fills me with frustritude, knowing that the Lordiotic would say it’s all a sigment anyway.

Is it too much for me to hope for that at least the poor bug passed away before it could learn that the Obamas and Oprah are invited to Chelsea Clinton’s wedding but Will Bower and Heidi Li Feldman aren’t?

You missfelled malpeasance.
