Dear GOP:

Can Michael Steele be your chairman forever and ever?

Thank you.

Sincerely,

As a Democrat, I’m thrilled.

As a native Marylander, I’m embarrassed beyond belief.

Does anyone wonder why he did NOT get elected to either Lt. Gov. or Senator?

He was Erlich’s Lt. Governor. As for the Senate race, he never had a chance against Cardin.

“where was all of this when I ran…”

umm asshat, you would have to win, and then someone would have to hate/criticize you for you to have experienced what Obama is going through.

This guy is an idiot

OK. So?

He was Erlich’s Lt. Governor. As for the Senate race, he never had a chance against Cardin.

The fake sample ballots didn’t help either.

I love how Steele assumes that “being on the wrong side of history” means being black.  It never occurs to him that is means his party and his platform is wrong.  What a douche.

Steele did try to be on the right side of history––during his Senate run, when his campaign distributed those campaign signs, “voter guides”, and mailings misleadingly identifying him as a Democrat.
