Death Threat of the Weekend: Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman

From their “Opinion” page:

Finally, those who are fond of Joe McGinnis might remind him (if he doesn’t already know) that Alaska has a law that allows the use of deadly force in protection of life and property.

I guess the Frontiersmen aren’t members of the “lamestream media” or big fans of that silly concept of freedom of the press. [via Frum]

One of the commenters notes that Joe’s probably relieved to know he doesn’t have to restrain himself when the mob comes for his life and property.

MASTER THE ORIENTAL ART OF DEADLY WASILLAN MAT-SU!

TURN YOUR WHOLE BODY INTO A LETHAL FIGHTING BAG OF CONFUSED, ELECTRIFIED MEAT!

WITH WASILLAN MAT-SU, EVEN COMMON HOUSEHOLD ITEMS BECOME PUNISHMENT-DISPENSING IMPLEMENTS OF PAIN!

PARALYZE YOUR ENEMIES! CRIPPLE YOUR FRIENDS! GO FISHING WITH DYNAMITE! KILL CHIPMUNKS WITH A CHAIN-GUN!

BANNED IN JUNEAU AND ILLEGAL IN THE LOWER 48, WASILLAN MAT-SU PUTS YOU IN COMMAND OF EVERY SITUATION!

Since Sarah published a picture of McGinniss sitting on his own deck, he would have a good case for establishing that the Palins are stalking him.

She’s on the wrong Fox show. Obviously, the Palins should be on “Cops.”

Once again, the law of following children, animals, and Strange has claimed a victim. Please take my pallid comment out back and put it out of its misery.

allows the use of deadly force in protection of life and property

Does that include Palin’s bear-proof garbage cans?

I’ve got an idea.

The Palins are concerned for their privacy and safety.

Palin’s supporters think she has good ideas and leadership skills.

What if… Palin ran for political office.  She could move into the executive’s mansion where she’d have privacy and a security detail… at the same time, she’d be in a position to make a state better by implementing those ideas and leading!  Win-Win!

Finally, those who are fond of Joe McGinnis might remind him (if he doesn’t already know) that Alaska has a law that allows the use of deadly force in protection of life and property.

That’s thoughtful of them.

So if any of these revolting nutters Palin’s been provoking to frothing hatred against McGinniss decide to take the law into their own hands in a physical sense, they’re fair game.

Well called. Have them stuffed and mounted on the deck pour encourager les autres.

Joe McGinnis and NBC ruined Sarah’s Memorial Day, so she felt the need to respond on Facebook with a batch of lies and stupidity:

Todd and I both crafted the statement very carefully because our new neighbor has taken to accusing us of “inciting hatred” – a charge which we obviously take very seriously. We knew that he would make more accusations like this, and we felt very strongly that such comments should not go unanswered.

I’m not sure what “ugly innuendo” was in my Facebook post

The media sensationalizes the recent McGinniss’ tactic so the public will tune in to whatever the latest episode is, always with ratings in mind, and that’s unfortunate

If receiving nasty emails and even death threats is the standard by which we judge “inciting hatred,” then the left in this country has been “inciting hatred” on my family for almost two years

Read it all. It’s a wall-to-wall marvel of mendacity from the Queen of Sniping from the Shadows and Running Away.

Read it all.

I’ll wait till Palin has. I’ve seen her email screeds. Even the FB posts that are ostensibly hers have obviously been given some professional “attention.”

So Palin starts the whole thing by basically calling McGinnis a stalker and a pervert then plays the victim when there is some reaction to this by the media.

And it’s a shame that Todd and I had another disappointing encounter with the media on Memorial Day of all days. It was time that we could have spent with our kids and on a day when we honor those who have died in defense of our Constitution, including our freedom of the press.

And I loved this comment:

Steve Bragg
Sarah, once we saw how quickly you Palins built your fence, we realized how well a Palin administration could secure the borders! We love ya and are praying for you all.

Yes, all we need is a president who can call Lowe’s or Home Depot to get to the Mexico border stat with some pre-fab fencing!  Immigration problem solved!

@marindenver—I just crushed your front-page post with an update on this. Feel free to repost your comment upstairs, if you want.

Sincerely,
The Abominable Post-Crusher

Someone better tell Sarah and Todd that the law does NOT allow the use of deadly force in the protection of feelings.
