Despicable

Wingnuts/teabaggers really are the most loathsome douchebags in the world:

The teabaggers in this video are contemptible, heartless bottom-feeders. I wish every person in the United States would watch this. My dad suffered from Parkinson’s for 15+ years before he passed away. It is an unrelenting, horrible disease. He could barely speak or move near the end of his life. But, ha ha!, let’s giggle as “real Americans” chuck some dollar bills at the pathetic “communist” who probably can’t afford coverage. These “patriots” are just the absolute worst.

But leave it to the subhuman blockhead Dan Riehl to drag this malicious bullshit even lower.

God, I hate these people. [video via Wonkette]

The words “We the People” turn to shit in the mouths of two-legged animals like this. Fuck them. Fuck their beliefs. Fuck their “culture.” And fuck their claim to be the “real Americans.” They aren’t even goddamned genuine humans.

My family has a rather severe history of Parkinson’s (Grandmother and four of her siblings had it, one uncle has it, another cousin is starting to show signs), so yeah - Mr. Lexus Salesman can go die in a fucking fire.

Such angry little children.  Do they think Mommy will start loving them for this?

Don’t forget that Dan Riehl has also been asked to grace CNN with his pearls of wisdom.

Ahh, the proud warriors of reaction.  Fighting to turn back the clock to the magical imaginary age when they ruled everything. That’s what their masters tell them, anyway.  And they’ll cut down anyone who tells them different.

And they’ll claim he was a soshulist plant who picked up his wheel chair and hit people with it in 5…4…3…

What Strange said. And, as Josh Marshall noted, the fact that these vile cretins are screeching about “hand-outs” to a disabled man demonstrates perfectly that this isn’t really about health care. It’s about smarmy bullies covering their own pathetic inadequacies by picking on more vulnerable people.

These are the same people Reagan masterfully played with his bogus Welfare Queen stories while he shoveled the real largess to his rich Republican cronies. These assholes are the Joe the Plumbers of the world—ignorant, soulless dipshits who are just smart enough to vaguely sense that they themselves are stupid losers who are being played. So they desperately look around for someone they perceive to be on a lower rung than themselves to kick in the head. Because that’s the only thing that makes them feel better.

There is no decency at long last, for these people.

Time was, Joseph Welch’s question finally turned the tide and took down Joe McCarthy, but in these times, I think it would simply be passed over with little comment except for right-wingers moaning “How DARE Joseph Welch question us?” before they released their opposition-research findings on him.

Betty, good summary, but you left out one thing:

These are the people that Jane Hamsher believes that the “true left” should seek out as “populist” allies. Which proves that Hamsher is either dumber than a box of cat turds, or a feckless opportunist. Of course, she could be both.

These are the people that Jane Hamsher believes that the “true left” should seek out as “populist” allies.

Hey, c’mon, we’re just smashing the Overton Window.

Mrs. P. - sadly I think you’ve got it right.  The “Code of Decency” just doesn’t exist anymore.  The new code of conduct just requires getting yourself that 15 seconds or minutes of YouTube fame and if it’s at the expense of someone who’s suffering, why, all the better!

My aunt for whom I was named, and who was one of my favorite persons who ever lived, died of complications of Parkinson’s.  The comments at Riehlasshole’s blog that Parkinson’s is a self inflicted disease (because you’re, you know, alcoholic or bang your head against things) and therefore somehow deserved are despicable.  I honestly don’t know where we go with this kind of hate and vileness.

meanwhile McMegan at the Atlantic would love to trade places with him… http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2010/03/dum b-press-releases-own-goal-edition/37623/

No matter how frail his condition, could the fellow on the ground possibly have been seriously endangered by having two bills hurled his way?
I’d certainly be willing to take such harsh treatment from the nice folks at Progress Ohio.

Kevin,
My dad has Parkinson’s and so just reading about this clip is as far as I can go. I just can’t watch.  The hate and lack of compassion for a fellow human being by these people is just astounding. I remember when Limbaugh made his shitty comments about Michael J. Fox.  Sickening. Do any of you remember this clip from this summer - teabaggers making fun of a man who owes thousands of dollars for an emergency room trip? The guy happens to be Jewish, and in their infinite wisdom, they call him a Nazi.  Just lovely.

And Betty, you are right.  This isn’t about healthcare.  It’s about hate for the sake of hate.

My dad suffered from Parkinson’s for 15+ years before he passed away.

I hear you Kevin. Mine did too, and I watched him die in agony at the end. I just can’t describe how angry that video makes me. It makes me want to go two-by-four-Megan all over that fucker.
