I bet it’s good! I use a baked ham recipe sometimes that is basted with RC cola. It’s wonderful.

One of my all time favorite books, Red Sky at Morning (a coming-0f-age story set during World War II featuring a Southern family sitting out the war in New Mexico while Dad is off fighting) has ham with Coca Cola sauce as kind of a recurring theme.  Not, by the way, as an example of GOOD Southern cooking.  ;-)  I guess pork braised in Dr. Pepper kind of strikes me the same way.
