Levin was brilliant.  You could see the GS guy trying to disappear into his chair.  Speaking of memes have you heard Rush’s latest.  The EVIL Firefighters and Police Officers drawing retirement are making the poor millionaires pay more in property taxes and they don’t like it!  I swear I am not making it up, that was a large part of his show today.  Sad millionaires are sad because the firefighters and police who have kept THEIR FUCKING HOMES AND PROPERTY SAFE FOR TWENTY YEARS OF THEIR LIFE are now drawing a well earned retirement check.  Check the transcripts your gob will be as smacked as mine was.

Litlebrit - what a complete pile of drivel that transcript was.  The justification of the millionaires that he knows (winky, wink) are that it’s all public dole - that the firefighters and cops have been sucking off the public teat their whole career and now expect to get retirement payments.  Ignoring, as you said, that they were paid for putting their lives on the line every day to keep us safe.  And that they made contributions into the retirement and deferred comp plans throughout their careers. 

Oh, he manages to defend Goldman Sachs too.  His disjointed rambling justification of this was impossible to read - mostly that gubmint brings everyone down.
