Betty won the innertubes today.  Game over.

Yeah, I’m calling it a day.

Thank you! That was perfect.

Lots of giggles!

Lambert lambert sighting! Whoop whoop whoop!

The question the “single payer or we shoot this puppy!” crowd never has the intellectual honesty or rational testicularity to address is “If it took this long and these many compromises to get this bill you hate to the senate floor, just why the fuck do you think it would have been a walk in the motherfucking park to get a single-payer plan through the same goddamn Congress?” Especially with a president who didn’t campaign on single payer in the first place? (Reminder for the brain-damaged short-attention-span CorrodedWhiner set: neither did Edwards or Clinton.)

And no, the answer is not “Well, if the ACCESS BLOGGERS had been on board, things would have been different!” Ben Nelson, Kent Conrad, Max Baucus, Olympia Snowe, et al don’t give a green shit what Open Left thinks.

MarkL writes: “Next on the Obama agenda after torpedoing health care reform: SS and Medicare cuts.” Yes, and the Senate bill dovetails with that, since it also makes Medicare’s cost structure transparent and turns it into an entitlement for 55-64s. Genius!

Cuz Medicare for ALL is not an entitlement but Medicare for SOME is!  Genius!
