Hillary campaign promotes blogger who has repeatedly called Michelle Obama a “blow job queen”

I was recently alerted to the fact that the commenters at Hillary is 44 were referring to Donna Brazile as “brillohead.” I went to check it out (it was true), but I ended up stumbling upon something even more offensive:

I was shocked that not one person called him on that comment, so I poked around Hillary is 44 a bit more to see what else he had posted and how active he was on the site. As it turns out, very active. And also very, very enraged by Michelle Obama (I’ve bolded the most egregious text):

A house purchased with Rezko cash and a salary increase she received as a result of her husband’s ability to secure earmarks for her employer, a job wth a WAL-MART affiliate as a result of her husband’s status as Senator, a full-time maid, piano lessons for your overfacilitated daughters and all the other perquisites of one’s status of wife of US Senator, and this woman still believes we should “give her something?” Michelle, American society is not a welfare program, and you actually have to earn your way. Take your sense of entitlement somewhere else, skank.

In addition, truthteller2007’s MyDD diary was highlighted on Hillary Clinton’s main official campaign site in their daily “HUBdate" press release:

Now keep in mind, this isn’t supporter-generated content on HillaryHub or in the HUBdate press releases, these entries are compiled by a member or members of the campaign staff and the sites where the content is hosted are paid for by Hillary Clinton for President. And if you wanted to make the argument that there’s no way the Clinton staffer or staffers responsible could have known truthteller2007 had repeatedly referred to Michelle Obama as a “blow job queen” because he was using a different alias on Hillary is 44, let’s take a look at two comments made by truthteller2007 on MyDD, the same site Hillary’s staff linked to:

Some of Hillary’s online supporters recently accused the Obama campaign of sanctioning and/or organizing the event where radio host Randi Rhodes made offensive comments about Clinton and even went so far as to claim it was a fundraiser for Obama, accusations which were patently false. Now we have a clear and irrefutable example of Clinton’s campaign staff actively promoting the work of a blogger who has repeatedly referred to Michelle Obama as a “blow job queen” (among other things). I’d say Hillary Clinton or, at the very least, Clinton Campaign Internet Director Peter Daou should publicly condemn the comments made by truthteller2007/pulchritude and extend a profound apology to Michelle Obama for promoting the writings of a man who described their opponent’s wife in such unacceptably vile and sexist terms.
UPDATE (9:56AM): Since there’s a little confusion about it, HillaryIs44.org is not an official Clinton campaign site. HillaryClinton.com and HillaryHub.com are official Hillary Clinton for President web sites. And, yes, I’m 100% positive truthteller2007/pulchritude is male.
UPDATE (10:17AM): I added thumbnails of the HillaryClinton.com and HillaryHub.com screen grabs to the post to make it flow better. Also, fyi, I have screen grabs of every highlighted comment, but I won’t put those online unless necessary.
UPDATE (11:51am): The Clinton campaign has removed all links and content referencing truthteller2007’s MyDD diary from both HillaryHub.com and HillaryClinton.com.
UPDATE (12:00PM): When I went looking for a Google cache of the HUBdate press release, I found this (scroll to bottom). The HUBdate press release spotlighting truthteller2007’s diary is attributed to none other than Clinton Communication Director Howard Wolfson in this blog entry and the reference to truthteller’s diary in Wolfson’s post has been scrubbed on the live site as well.
UPDATE (4/13 7:10PM): Both MyDD and No Quarter have deleted the “Hillary Is Receptive and Responsive to North Carolina Voters” posts from their blogs (cached versions available here and here). Somewhat odd in that the content of the post wasn’t the issue, just the author, but both sites don’t appear to have banned truthteller2007 nor have they deleted any of his “blow job queen” comments since my post. In addition, Charlotte 4 Hillary, a loose-knit group of Hillary supporters in Charlotte, has scrubbed every reference to the real identity of truthteller2007/pulchritude from their blog (which he linked to regularly, including in the “Hillary Is Receptive” post). Apparently another blog “outed” him by posting his full name and email address. I knew who he was on Friday (Charlotte 4 Hillary left quite a breadcrumb trail), but didn’t feel outing him was warranted regardless of his behavior. Mama done raised me right.
UPDATE (6/6): Since this post is getting a lot of traffic again out of the blue, let’s all take a look at some more recent examples of racism from Hillary’s hard-line supporters and, in one instance, “a top member of Clinton’s organization.”
