“Hillraiser” Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild calls Obama an “elitist” on CNN

Here’s frustrated and filthy rich “Hillraiser” Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild appearing Monday on (yes, you guessed it) Fox News’ Your World (aka Your Daily PUMA):

Some background: Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild was introduced to her husband British banking financier Sir Evelyn Robert Adrian de Rothschild by Henry Kissinger at the Bilderberg conference in ‘98. Portfolio labeled her “the flashiest hostess in London.” She’s “mistress” of the Ascott House, the 3,200-acre Rothschild family estate in Buckinghamshire. She’s on the board of Estée Lauder. She’s friends with Tony and Cherie Blair and other big-moneyed Brits, including the utterly corrupt Conrad Black and his wife, Barbara Amiel. She also owns what has been described as “the most beautiful apartment in New York”:

Sitting down with her on a recent afternoon in the new pad—an 18th-floor duplex in River House that was previously owned by Carter Burden and Libet Johnson—it’s hard to begrudge her the excess of good fortune, thanks to her affability and occasional self-deprecations. (The Chateau Lafitte she pours—“the family wine,” as she calls it—and the heaping bowl of beluga don’t hurt, either.)

Last night Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild, the same ridiculously privileged and extraordinarily wealthy woman profiled above, appeared on CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360°, identified simply as “businesswoman Lynn Forester,” and said the following about Barack Obama:

“This is a hard decision for me personally because, frankly, I don’t like him.  I feel like he is an elitist. I feel like he has not given me reason to trust him.”

I’ll look around the web for video of The Most Hypocritical Thing Ever Uttered on Television and allow all of you adequate time to scrape your jaws off the floor (I had to use a jackhammer last night). Check back for updates.

UPDATE: Here’s Lady Lynn’s CNN appearance.  Check it out:

Oh for fucks sake. I saw that CNN piece too and dismissed the “business woman” as yet another whiny sore loser. But I had no idea she was calling Obama an elitist from her lofty perch as chateau-dwelling, titled gentry! Good god, what next? Amy Winehouse calling Christopher Hitchens a tosspot?

Good god, what next? Amy Winehouse calling Christopher Hitchens a tosspot?

Comment of the day.

I wonder if Winehouse would last longer at waterboarding than Hitchens did?

Thank You for the web site. I feel McCain equally holds a male view of the power of women. So I do not feel he is even a consideration. Although unless Hillary Clinton is given the vice presidential or reconsidered for the president Obama cannot have my vote. He made his feelings clear by ignoring his running mate through the last primaries and going into debate with McCain even though he had not been given the position as presidential nominee for our party. Obama does not hold a view of women in this country that gives him a vote from the majority who supported Hillary Clinton. This country has to change its idea and action against women including the male owned press who wanted her out and made sure she was downplayed in every media outlet. So now we need to grow up America. We have trashed our economy with millions going where they could not even go finiancially and the greed of the Mortgage companies is so large that just so they have their money no consideration is given to them. We need a strong woman base in this government who sees how to turn this around. Obama needs Hillary Clinton to win his Presidency or we need to protest this choice since Hillary got the larger popular vote and take it out of the hands of the delegate vote.

Although unless Hillary Clinton is given the vice presidential or reconsidered for the president Obama cannot have my vote.

Great.  Next!

This lady is a liar.  Businesswoman my ass.  She married into money and has the balls to call Obama an elitist.  Give me a break.  It didn’t work for Hillary (who is full of crap too) and it won’t work for Lady whinny Rothschild.  You lost.  Deal with it.  Obama doesn’t need your money.  Go back to Buckinghamshire.

[Slight edit to comment.—The Management]

No wonder she looked so smug when she said that.  Why would the Obama campaign want to try to convince her of anything after this comment?

Lady Whiny is ticked because it appears her $100K+/- contribution is now flushed down the toilet. More than likely, she was hoping for some sort of position in a Clinton White House, e.g. an ambassadorship, etc. Well, sorry, missy. Go ahead, get out of town, and plunk down another $100K on McCain’s toilet lid, in hopes that doesn’t get flushed too, and maybe you’ll get a “job.”

These women need to get real. Tired of the sore loser garbage. Hillary did not have the popular vote, Michigan and Florida were not counted (thru their own stupidity). As far as elitist goes, Hillary is right at the top of the list. She can pay off her own darn campaign since she was stupid enough to stay in when she did not have the $$$$. Hillary ran a failed campaign from day one. Its time to let go. And if you think for one minute John McCain and his stepford wife cares anything about women, the working middle class etc you are in for a rude awakening. He is another McBush and sellout. Just like he sold out in 2000 and cut a deal with Bush.

Wow.

The Hillary hold outs are seriously deranged.

Mercy.

Watching her in the Fox clip, she brings up the ‘18 millions people who didn’t vote for HIM’ crap line.

How many of those 18 million do you think are PISSED off at these deadender’s bringing them up all the time…

I’d say the percentage is probably in the 80% are pissed off zone (if not more).

Obama needs Hillary Clinton to win his Presidency or we need to protest this choice since Hillary got the larger popular vote and take it out of the hands of the delegate vote.

Yeah, its not as if I’m not touring America with Obama or showing up at his rallies or having my former women’s outreach staffer sign up with his campaign.

Oh.  Wait.

So, just how many Maverick Points did you earn for that comment?

A lot of us are pissed off and you know what….

Mr. Big Stuff just keeps making it worse

Mr. Big Stuff just keeps making it worse

John Holmes has been dead for a very, very long time.  Get over it already.

He made his feelings clear by ignoring his running mate through the last primaries and going into debate with McCain even though he had not been given the position as presidential nominee for our party.

HRC wasn’t Obama’s running mate—she was his primary opponent. And by the time he shifted gears and directed his remarks to McCain, the primaries were essentially over. Everyone but HRC’s nuttiest supporters knew it, including HRC herself, which is why she tamped down the criticism of Obama toward the end.

Obama does not hold a view of women in this country that gives him a vote from the majority who supported Hillary Clinton.

Patently false. Here is one of many polls that indicate that the majority of HRC’s supporters already back Obama.

This country has to change its idea and action against women including the male owned press who wanted her out and made sure she was downplayed in every media outlet. So now we need to grow up America.

Yeah, there was sexism directed toward HRC, and it was deplorable. It was condemned by many Obama supporters, including the proprietor of this blog. But you want to flush an election down the toilet at a critical juncture in history because Chris Matthews is an asshole? If so, you’re the one who needs to grow up.

We have trashed our economy with millions going where they could not even go finiancially and the greed of the Mortgage companies is so large that just so they have their money no consideration is given to them.

McCain’s pal and campaign operative Charlie Black has a plan for that. He’s a major mortgage company lobbyist. So if you liked the last 8 years, make sure Obama doesn’t get elected.

We need a strong woman base in this government who sees how to turn this around. Obama needs Hillary Clinton to win his Presidency or we need to protest this choice since Hillary got the larger popular vote and take it out of the hands of the delegate vote.

A “strong woman base in this government”? Hmmm. I’m a woman, and I’d like to see a sister get ahead. But I don’t think women have some special capacity for turning the government around. That’s why I supported the candidate who I thought had the right ideas and approach. He happened to be a dude.

And the popular vote thing is a load of hooey. You have to parse it very particularly to award it to HRC, but it’s a pointless exercise since everyone knew the rules going in, and it was that delegates choose the candidate. In fact, HRC’s people helped craft those rules.

You go on and vote for whomever you want to. But if McCain gets elected because of you and a bunch of other whiny, sore loser Clintonistas, the consequences will be on your heads.

Mr. Big Stuff just keeps making it worse

Yeah, Mr. Big Stuff because he’s so full of himself and doesn’t know his place.

And ‘cause he’s black and they have big… y’know.

Excuse me, I’ll be right back.

Dems, Don’t ever call the Republican’s racist again.  The dem party is full of racist white soccer moms.

Dems, Don’t ever call the Republican’s racist again.  The dem party is full of racist white soccer moms.

I’m just going to keep it simple and accuse everyone of being racist, sexist and homophobic.

With her family background and the way she comes across with her better than thou attitude, it’s quite absurd for her to suggest a man who was raised poor, brought up in poor neighborhoods, is elite? She wouldn’t have a clue what it is to go without or to have to struggle economically…Anyway. I’m a life-long Republican who decided that it’s time to vote Democrat, either Hillary or Obama would do, but I did prefer Obama because he represented the most change and wasn’t a divisive character in Washington to the extent Hillary is. And as for having any type of experience, I kind of laugh at that, because back when the great Bill Clinton was running for president that was us Republican’s argument that a governor of a little, tiny, poor state could run the largest economy in the world. Well he did just that and did it fairly well, Bill certainly did not have much experience with foreign affairs, military tactics, etc. So now the Democrats themselves are making the argument against their own party, what a shame. I’m voting for Obama and I hope you Democrats get your heads out of your….because this country will be in deep trouble if McCain gets in and appoints a couple Supreme Court Justices, we are on the verge of becoming a police state with a 5-4 recent vote allowing prisoners the right of Habeus Corpus, prisoners being held for over 5 years with no charges pressed against them, prisoners subjected to torture. It’s a disgrace and Lynn says she won’t support Obama because he is an elitist. She’s a disgrace to Democrats.

I agree with Lady Lynn.  Notice what Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman noted, that Clinton supporters need to be “won” over and the next segment shows a cocky, arrogant Obama strutting out of a plane, as the announcer states Obama’s attitude:  “The Hillraisers will come around by election day,” and “His camp has no comment about the sexism in the media.”

That shows these people are arrogant, solipsistic, maroons, who deserve no support at all.

cocky, arrogant Obama strutting out of a plane

I try so hard not to go there with you PUMA dimwits, but you make it so very, very hard for me sometimes.

So, once again, I’ll just veer away and call you elitist for using the word “solipsistic.”

Good Day!
It’s a sad day in America when the people of this great Nation steal can not move past these issues for the common good. This country needs someone that can speak to youth, as well as to those of us that are over forty. And I know that Senitor Obama is the one that can do it. I have been a support of Senitor Cliton for a long time I like what she has stood for and what she will always stand for. However, this is not the time nor the election for someone to try and get there 15min of fame (Lynn Forester de Rothschild).
Lets face it, a McCain in the hand keeps you in the Bush. Come on people let’s stop all this madness. This is God’s man for this time, and no matter what you may say or do. God’s plan will come to pass.

God Bless

From the last linked article above:

In 2000 she married Sir Evelyn de Rothschild, 71 (the Clintons let them spend their wedding night in the White House).

Her husband’s name is Evelyn?

The Rothschild family has all that money and influence just from being good honest bankers for a few centuries, btw, although some ridiculous kooks believe there is no such thing.

Of course there is no such thing as an honest banker. The Saving’s and Loan debacle of the 80’s where tens of thousands of Americans lost their life’s savings, the current mortgage banking crisis. Bankers make money off of lending to the poor, the Federal Reserve Bank in fact is old rich families of bankers, not a U.S. government institution, that controls our economy. This lady has about as much room calling someone an elitist as a piece of shit, calling a pile of crap, a turd.

Rothschild fortune is over $500 Trillion. Food for thought. Read it from the bottom up if you find it too boring at the beginning:

Ah, look, Lynette’s still at it. How cute. You keep it up, Lynette, and we might start caring.

Ha!  I got here via memeo, but I seem to remember getting here before some other way and also that you have that connection with that Jeff G. guy.

I don’t get how this works for the Clintonistas.  There’s a local blog I comment on and it gets infested with them every once in a while.

Sore losers doesn’t even begin to define them.

Well..isn’t Lynn cute. As a 62-year old married white woman..who often got told, while trying to work my way through college that I was “qualified” but “a guy” should “have the job”, because the other guys just “wouldn’t feel comfortable” with a “girl” around..I say..How dare you, Lady Lynn! How dare you attempt to get in anyone’s face with your self-serving, whiny, petulant, self-indulgent arrogance!  You have the audacity to call Obama “elitist”???? You are a smarmy little hypocrite..the walking definition of an elitist! Just try to account for Clinton’s pandering to Indian outsourcers..taking their money and support, and returning the favor by hawking their H1B visas..taking away jobs from qualified Americans! Keep your damn money..we don’t need you and we don’t want you!!! You are disgusting..your attempt to hide who you really are is revolting!

[comment edited—THE MANAGEMENT]

I am one Hillary supporter who will be voting for McCain.

Democratic party needs to learn the lesson of 1972 all over again. They need a McGovern size defeat and it is coming this November.

Obama played the race card and the sexist card every step of the way through his surrogates and gropies in the media. We are asked to vote for as unqualified guy for president because he is black.

I will be voting for McCain because at least he is qualified for the job and he is a patriotic American. More than I can say about Obama.

McCain 08!

Hillary 2012!

“But if McCain gets elected because of you and a bunch of other whiny, sore loser Clintonistas, the consequences will be on your heads.”

Really?

It won’t be the responsibility of the candidate who is so clearly in over his head?

Can he be held accountable for anything? Or is he the Messiah who cannot be blamed for anything?

Obama supporters are like cultists. They have latched on to an affirmative action candidate as a Savior. They accuse anyone who doesn’t support him of racism. Because why wouldn’t anyone vote for a guy who is so obviously unqualified for the job? They must be racists.

Ah so..since my post, I did a little research and discovered what Hill and Lynn really have in common..both are well-entrenched in Indian investments and outsourcing..that explains everything! Fortunately, the adult and the sane among Hillary’s supporters have the brainpower to understand that a vote for McStrangelove is a vote against all women. Only a GOP shill could even say the words..“I’m voting for McCain”! So..now we know that, in addition to being an old man’s whore, Lynn Forester is just another RepubliCon in sheep’s clothing..along with the rest of the so-called Hillary supporters who are still whining like the petulant five-year-olds that they are..! Goodbye..go away, kid..don’t bother me!

I agree, this is a bunch of pathetic republicans posting to act as if they were going to vote for Hillary. Any Hillary supporter with half a brain would know that she supports Barrack and his stance is much closer to hers on the issues than McCain.

RE: Comment by MikeD on 07/10/08 at 01:34 AM
—yeah, the consequences really will be on the whiny Clintonistas’ heads if they help elect a person who will enact an agenda that is in direct opposition to their beliefs in a fit of pique.

It won’t be the responsibility of the candidate who is so clearly in over his head? Can he be held accountable for anything? Or is he the Messiah who cannot be blamed for anything?

You mean the guy who is such a political neophyte that he took down the Clinton machine? He must not know shit about politics. He is SO in over his head…

Personally, I don’t believe in Messiahs. Obama can be held accountable for his stances on issues, some of which I disagree with. But I don’t blame him for PUMA douchebaggery.

Obama supporters are like cultists. They have latched on to an affirmative action candidate as a Savior. They accuse anyone who doesn’t support him of racism. Because why wouldn’t anyone vote for a guy who is so obviously unqualified for the job? They must be racists.

It cracks me up when PUMA douchebags who worship their Pantsuited Goddess to such an extent that they’re willing to continue George W. Bush’s disastrous policies for another 4 years out of sheer spite accuse others of cult-like behavior.

I don’t believe all PUMA douchebags are racists. Some are merely sore losers. Others are blithering idiots. But those who call Obama the affirmative action candidate like you? If the jackboot fits, wear it, racist jackass.

How does one spell opportunist-elite in the UK? L-Y-N-N R-o-t-t-e-n F-r-u-i-t.

Its obvious she was backing Billary w/ fruit n veggie export to America on her mind. Obama beating Billary just underminded her latest sale of herself to the highest bidder. She obviously had this all planned that once the Clintons were back in the WH, they would export more of her rotten fruit. Helping India by more exportation of resources she, rothschild and the clintons (secretly) own would be the best business move since an oil man became POTUS!

My question is, if she is such a great fund raiser, why does hillary have so much debt and Obama raised 20 times more? Let’s stop the sale of America the free(?)...

that you have that connection with that Jeff G. guy

I don’t know if I’d refer to it as a “connection,” although I guess that was how you could describe his original “offer.”

BECAUSE OF THE COCKSLAPPINESS!

i addressed just this issue in my blog.

the only thing I have to say to any woman democrat - ok, men too - who are thinking about McCain out of sour grapes:

Supreme Court Appointment

not to mention the war, the environment, the economy. even if HRC goes in in 2012, guess what , we’d already be stuck with a bunch of young republican assholes on the bench for a loooong ass time *sigh*

that;s really the leagcy you fucks want to leave your children?

really, I think you need to focus people! snap out of it!

Her husband’s name is Evelyn?

It’s pronounced EVIL-in.

This is absolutely hilarious!  Lady Rothschild—married into one of the richest families on the planet has the nerve to call Senator Obama an elitist—this man who was born to a single mother, raised partially by his average income grandparents, educated on his own merits at Harvard, and then came to Chicago to work for the people—him an elitist?

Comedy, pure and simple!

wow—1st-timer here via pandagon—what a great blog!
And great commenters, too (I already got at least two new blog-crushes).  Totally unsurprising that it’s a NY blog, of course.
<Ahnuld>Ah’ll be baaack</Ahnuld>

Obama supporters are like cultists. They have latched on to an affirmative action candidate as a Savior.

Which is hilarious coming from those who believed in June that if only we counted Michigan all for Hillary, counted Florida and squinted our eyes in just the right way that Hillary would have won the popular vote.

Hilarious I tell ya.  Hope you don’t have any kids reaching military age in the next 8 years.

I wait…  not really.

So I guess it’s safe to assume “elitist” means “uppity negro”? Geez, I remember when Republicans were the ones always accused of speaking in racial code.

I am not a Democrat and will not be voting for either of the major candidates. As a libertarian I might not be voting at all. I do not have a preference between Clinton and Obama.

However, it has been my observation that the Clinton supporters have been the ones most likely to “play the race and sex cards” and generally act like spoiled entitled brats.

I have never once got the impression that Obama wanted me to vote for him because he is a black man. However Hillary and her people have certainly argued that she is “qualified” because she is a woman, white, and married to Bill.

As for the Clinton supporters who will vote for McCain, I don’t even know where to start. I am not sure if that is an indictment of McCain ( who is terrible by both Democrat AND Republican standards, and pretty much most decent people) or the Clinton supporters.

I don’t understand not having any principles at all and basing everything on ( usually false) personal attacks, race, sex, and silly things like someone’s middle name.

Maybe I am “elitist” because I can’t lower myself to support any of these 3 Stooges ( though I think McCain is probably the worst and can’t imagine anyone crossing party lines to support the Mythical Maverick).

well is he or is he not an elitist?

just cuz a rich woman says it doesnt mean it’s not true. hell maybe she has much greater authority on the subject than us plebians

Elitism is not about having money. It is about the consolidation of power. Consolidating power based on degrees or governmental positions is no different from consolidating power based on bank accounts. Some of Obama’s policies would take power from the average American and hand it to Universities or bureacrats.

The “Elitist Obama” meme has never looked more hilarious! Needs more heiress.

Speaking of comedy, that “McCain in 2008, Clinton in 2012” schtick? Comedy Gold! Wonder what Magical Kingdom you have to be living in to think there’ll even BE elections by 2012, given the track-record of the GOP since, oh, 1972 or so? Hell, America will be damn lucky to get to vote THIS time around.

Cthulhu/Nyarlothotep 2008!
“THAT ought to wake him up.”

Oh, my god—shoot the messenger is all the obamacons can do. She called Obama an elitist, some one who feels superior. He did exactly that when he smugly announced that people get bitter and cling to guns.

Anyway, it is also good to check the facts: this woman is self-made not Kerry-style marrying into the money. Look it up, and if you are lazy here is the link:

Another PUMA, so hear me roar!

Just like a typical Obamabot, you attack anyone saying anything about the “change machine.”

Enough with the supreme court - enough fear-mongering.  Let me guess: if we don’t vote for the empty suit then Roe v. Wade will be overturned by the end of January?  Please, I’m not buying it.

Sorry - the whole “democratic” congress can kiss it, too.  Wow, Obama did a great job standing up to Bush on FISA!  I guess it’s hard to insult verizon when you’re accepting money from their lobbyists.

Obamabots - you only get one vote.  I only get one vote.  Let’s just see how the chips fall come November.  And besides, the more trash you spew about the ONLY decent candidate we had, the more you push me into the McCain camp…so what is it you called her again??????

Just let me know where to send the check for the swiftboats!

PUMA for life!!!!

PS. DEFINITELY NOT A REPUBLICAN - actually, I was registered independent, but switched for MY MESSIAH!!!!!!! HILLARY CLINTON, 08!  DENVER! DENVER! DENVER!!!!!!!!

Another PUMA, so hear me roar!

No matter how many times I read derivations of that, it still gives me the giggles.  You folks really have no idea how silly it looks when you type stuff like that to, ya know, normal people, do you?  Good fucking luck in Denver.  Even your Fox News enablers are getting bored with your shtick.

p.s. I don’t give a shit who you vote for.  Pass that info on up to drbala.

Your lame a$$ candidate limped across the finish line, and if the Super Ds didn’t help him he would’ve never made it - and hell, she was STILL picking up states and getting stronger.

97% of the African American vote - who injected race into the primaries again??

FISA! FISA! FISA!

Your just pissed because I just canceled you out in November - how’s it feel Kevin, or should I say Obamabot?

White Guilt ‘08!

97% of the African American vote - who injected race into the primaries again??

White Guilt ‘08!

You’re so close, kykyclinton.  C’mon, you’re almost there. Go ahead, girl, let it out.  You’ll feel so much better…

I cancel you out!  That’s enough peace of mind for me.  Don’t drink too much of that kool aid!
