How do you say “fuck if I know” in Alaskan?

Answer at 5:30 ... but don’t miss the prelude.

Couric treats Palin as if she were a misbehaving <strike>librarian</strike> six-year old.

“I’m only going to ask you one more time…”

Boy, the luster sure wore off of Palin quick, didn’t it? She seemed like a political superstar at the convention, but since has been exposed as a stupid version of George W. Bush.

Sarah got caught misbehavin’ and suggested the size of The First Dude’s dick drove her to do it.

I just watched a 9-minute clip of Letterman.

He began with tributes to McCain. Annoying? yes, but I also understand why so many people preface their remarks when it comes to his past.

But Wow. Dave hammered him. Good.

Something still tells me that this entire campaign is just one big astro-turfing rat-fucking charade.

What a fucking moron.  Seriously.  Just a straight-up fucking moron. How much are Republicans wishing he had picked Mittens now? “I’ll try to find you some and I’ll bring ‘em to you.”  Palin’s goin’ on an easter egg hunt! Too funny.

I wouldn’t be so brazen as to say we may be witnessing the death of the GOP brand, but…

Our Libertarian friends need to get on deck.  Their time might be coming up soon.

Speaking of Palin, have you all noticed John McCain’s left eye lately?  As Atrios pointed out, there’s something weird going on with it.  It doesn’t open all the way.  Coincidentally, that’s the same side of his face that he had the cancer.  Could be serious, or could be nothing at all, but it’s weird.

Putting on my tin foil hat for a moment, I wonder if health issues could have anything to do this gambit to suspend the campaign and debates.  Maybe he needs some time for a quick surgical cover-up.

I wouldn’t be so brazen as to say we may be witnessing the death of the GOP brand, but…

Don’t make that mistaken assumption. The folks who listen to Rush, who have supported Bush to the hilt, believe that this is not Bush’s responsibility, but a systemic problem of too much government.

Seriously.

I know this first-hand and in living color. It’s not an isolated thought, but a by-product of the best distraction team I have ever seen operate.

No wonder the CIA stands in awe of the modern GOP, those sneaky folks who live in Tom Clancy’s basement have got a lot to learn from an organization that brought us George Walker Bush.

I posed a question to a man today, a man I like and admire; I asked him what he would have said in October of 2000 if Clinton had introduced a near-trillion dollar bailout of anything ... Wall Street .... Canal Street .... Sesame Street .... DeLancy Srteet .... South Street ....

He told me that I need to get rid of my partisan attitude if we we’re going to engage in constructive presidential campaign discussions.

He loves him some Rush.

Humboldt, given that 19% of Americans still think favorably of George W. Bush, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to assert the stupidity of millions of our fellow citizens.  If Obama is elected, I’ll count us as lucky; I won’t assert it was because most Americans are actually smart.

It’s the end of the world, and they blew it.

Sweet fucking Jeezus, are you kidding me???

This woman is obviously lost inside her own head, a
doomed wanderer through a twilight landscape of random word combinations.

She is a coin-operated bullshit generator. I’ve gotten more pertinent, useful answers from the mechanical “Swami” machine at the State Fair.

Yes, she reminds me of an older and more polished version of the hapless Miss Teen South Carolina who bumbled her way through her finalist interview a year or so ago by stringing random phrases together in a desperate attempt to sound like she knew what she was talking about.

Same thing here.  Palin was just spewing out random talking points that never provided any kind of coherent answer to any of the questions.

“but he still has a stake in the company, isn’t that a conflict of interest?”

Um….oh shit, what do I say now?  Damn I don’t even know what she’s talking about…oh shit, oh shit, oh shit!!!!!  I know, I’ll just say what I said before that doesn’t answer the question asked!

Did you notice that the TV show advertised just below it is “Worst Week”?
