I get nauseous thinking about Thursday

The UConn mens basketball team is playing Gardner-Webb Thursday, the squad that just stunned Kentucky last Wednesday.  We nearly lost to Morgan State on the same evening.

I hate sports.

Except for the dozen friends I made, I got nothing out of UConn, and I’ve been trying to excise it out of my memory for the past twenty years.  It all went south after the Adam Ant/Scandal concert; all of our hopes and dreams---gone, gone, gone.

Given a choice between watching a UConn sporting event and watching Norbit, I’d go with the latter.
