The events are counterprogramming against Clinton, who is now enthusiastically backing Obama and who also plans events in Dover and Manchester. New Hampshire is among the most competitive states on Nov. 4.

It’s one thing to “go your own way,” but this is just plain repugnant.

It’ll be interesting to see how large a crowd Lady Loon de Rectumpoot will draw vs. Hills. I wonder if Senator Clinton still considers the Baroness of Bilge a buddy. And is she still a member of the DNC platform committee, or was that just for the pre-primary phase? If the former, she should be booted off the island right after Joe Lieberman.

lets all keep in mind something: That Lady Loon de Rectumpoot is desperately trying to keep the spotlight on herself after her 15 mins of fame leaching on to Hillary. Thats all this is. A desperate bid by Marie Antoinette to ensure her famewhoring survival that will extinguish, the way a flood extinguishes a candle flame, once Obama is elected President. I dunno—maybe Clinton just doesn’t want to give the Baroness of Bullshit any media oxygen. My guess is that only folks who follow politics closely and Park Ave plutocrats even have a clue who Lady Loon is. But if Hillary publicly denounced her, it would be a big story, which would give Lady Loon a larger platform for her message.

Outside of Fox News world and the blogosphere, I doubt many folks know who in the hell she is.  The only well-known “Democratic” (note the quotes) defection McCain has picked up this election cycle is Lieberman.  I’ve lost track of how many A-to-B list Republicans Obama has picked up.

Betty, I sooo want to agree with what you say, and chances are you are right. But part of me feels that Bill, if not Hillary, must be giving out feelers to ex-Clintonistas that he is still bummed about his wife not being the nominee. That doesn’t mean much now, especially with Obama on the verge of winning...still i think its worth noting that I’m not that off when I say that these 2 Clintons, who have very high regard of themselves, still think they have a chance of smearing Obama through their surrogates. What good it would do I have no idea....but who knows they may see some benefit is allowing Lynn to spout feces out of her mouth. Call me paranoid, but i think everyones fears were confirmed when Bubba refused to say Obama’s name when he was at Letterman’s show.

Bimbo: I have no special insights into the Hillary-Bill mindset, but my intuition tells me that Hillary is more practical and less emotional than Bill. I think he is still smarting mightily over the primaries and may never get over it, whereas to her, it’s water under the bridge. I could be totally wrong, but that’s my gut feeling on it.

bimbo slice, as you may know, few liberal bloggers were tougher on Hillary and her campaign than I was during the primaries, but I think she’s been okay during the general election.  Much better than I thought she would be.  Bill, on the other hand… (Kevin fastens muzzle tightly to his head).

Betty, nope, hadn’t watched it yet but just did. I liked the argument against “false equivalency” (which I’ve also seen Maddow bring up) and I like that angle, but I’m still not convinced a woman who’s married to Dan Senor is totally trustworthy with the whole concept.
