The long-term effect of what was essentially a small group of white tea partiers gathering to be told by minorities that they’re not racist is unclear.

Was Saturday’s Uni-Tea rally in Philadelphia a success? Well, it depends on your definition of “epic fail.”

And per Mumphrey, I’ve got about 15 yrs. on BB, assuming he isn’t lying about his age. My hair, while going white, isn’t nearly as white as his is gray, & he looks more aged/used up than I do. And I’ve lived a fun, shall we say, life. (Most of it indoors/out of the sun, admittedly.)

Perhaps whatever genetic factors make a weasel like that old before his time have an effect on the mental processes as well. Though not the maturing effect one might expect.

BB maintains that he used to be a liberal, and then experienced an epiphany while watching Clarence Thomas undergoing the esophagus-crushing experience of a televised job interview.

I experienced a different epiphany, which was that ghosts must not exist, or Medgar Evars, Emmett Till, and a hundred nameless men and women would have dragged the porn-loving judge into the howling next dimension, leaving only a warm can of Coca-Cola on his seat.

BB’s conversion demonstrates the usual faulty reasoning found in these instant conversions: before, I was an uninformed liberal dolt, but NOW I am a fully cognizant conservative (asshole)!

@marindenver—I know and with such a late primary, there is very little time for the two camps to smooth ruffled feathers and make nice so we can kick some Republican butt in November.
