Lonely Michael Steele uses YouTube to make new friends

Michael Steele speaks directly to his imaginary friend Mathias who made a YouTube video about 10,000 pennies but he doesn’t link to it or even really say what it’s about, but he does call Mathias “man” a couple of times, offers him a free trip to DC to “do a lil’ dog and pony show for some folks,” and tries to bond over the fact that they both think “the world” should be “simple” and “understandable” (”...because that’s how you and I operate in it, right?”).

I think there’s no remaining doubt that that’s how Steele operates in the world.

p.s. Allegedly Mathias is the first recipient of the RNC’s “Grassroots Logic Award.”  Halp? I couldn’t find anything about this prestigious award (and I’m an award-winner!). Did Steele just make that up on the shitter before he sat down to film this?

What a sad, funny man.

I’m waiting for the videos where Steele hangs out with Barney the Scottish Terrier and plots the GOP comeback.

Ummmm, the only reference that I found to the allegations in the video were references back to the video.  Would love to see some actual statistical support for what “mathias” is saying.  Actually, at least in the construction industry, I believe job losses have slowed significantly.
