McCain’s campaign releases an ad featuring mostly old clips of Dems complimenting him (it starts with the text “John McCain is a Maverick/Just Ask Democrats") and the DNC’s rapid response team quickly turns around a web ad called “...Maverick No More” featuring the exact same Democrats in newer clips dissing him, asking what happened to the old McCain and binding him to Bush. This is brilliant stuff and its quick execution and deployment bodes well for the coming months. More like this, please.
It’s funny when you see the McCain ad and then the Obama version together. In the McCain ad, all the Dems who are complimenting him look almost a decade younger because...they were! Except Hillary, of course. I totally cringed when she said that back in the primary. Knew it would come back to haunt us.
I read an interesting take on the Clinton strategy recently that I’m gonna post on later. Soon as I get these pesky projects outta the way. Stupid job!
