Maybe He Had Tickets To Billy Elliot

Bundle Up Pittsburgh!

We’ve yet to hear from God’s Mouthpiece Pat Robertson on just why He (that is, God) decided to spare the Big Apple while coming down so hard on Washington and points west, which are actually going to be smacked again. Look, God, it was funny the first time (well, actually, it wasn’t). But now it’s just getting stale.

Pat won’t waste his time on our little powder problem. Not enough death and destruction.

And at the risk of being labeled insane, I think this is the most awesome winter EVER. I may have to adopt just so I can make my kids jealous. “You call this snow? HA! You should have been here in the winter of ‘10, THAT was real snow.”

Wrong holy orifice.

We’re starting to get some accumulation here—not sure how much will end up sticking, but it’s supposed to be heavy through the day. Doesn’t look bad so far. (Pray harder, Pat! Surely God would smite Chicago if he were going to smite anybody!)

Also, don’t you love how God decided that those sinful sodomites from the Big Easy deserved the Super Bowl victory? Maybe because the Colts no longer had God’s Own Man on the sidelines coaching.

But New Jersey got socked, even though the Garden Statemade the Baby Jesus smile by electing a Republican governor!  What’s up with that?

“You call this snow? HA! You should have been here in the winter of ‘10, THAT was real snow.”

LOL - we used the old “you should have seen the blizzard of ‘82 if you wanted to see REAL snow” line on our kids until the March ‘03 blizzard hit us.  That baby was definitely REAL snow.  Stay bundled up, people.  We’re having a relatively un-snowy winter here but we’ve definitely felt your pain in other years.

NY is slated to get the second storm by about Thursday, I think. But again, west of us will have taken most of the hit.

Perhaps I should have posted pictures of roaring hearthfires and cups of cocoa instead. I don’t know if that would be comforting or cruel.
