Maybe I’m not looking in the right places…

...but how come more journalists, pundits or bloggers aren’t writing about how America saved the Supreme Court on Tuesday? In my mind, that’s huge.

Yesterday, my sister said there are three words that sum up why Obama’s victory is so important: John Paul Stevens.

Seriously, let the poor old guy have a few days in the sun before he leaves this earth, you know?

Because we’re vultures. We’re still cleaning up Sarah Palin’s carcass before we move on to reporting the real news.

People have been caught up in the historic nature of this election (and I was too) but In a lot of ways, I think being able to shape Supreme Court for the next 20 or 30 years or more will be one of the biggest consequences of his victory.

Glenn Greenwald actually had a good column on it the other day.
