Merry Whatever

image

Whatever you celebrate at this time of year, may it be all you wish it to be.

Barring instant global warming, it looks like we’ll have a bit of snow on the ground here to add to the enjoyment/horror. The above’s a shot from just up the hill from YAFB Towers about ten minutes ago, looking down the River Clyde towards Arran.

If you’ve any seasonal shots of your own you want to share, link them in the comments and I or one of my co-bloggers’ll add them to this post.

Have fun, take care, and be good.

Updated to add a picture of Christmas at Chez Cracker—see the ornaments on our crepe myrtle?

The high in West Central Florida today is 75 F (about 24 C, I believe). But don’t hate me because I can wear flip-flops on Christmas Eve; it’s supposed to plunge into the 60s this weekend. Brrrr!

I’m not allowed to post my favorite holiday photo.

We have these stuffed snowmen decorations with each family member named. The first Christmas after we got married I was digging the decorations out of the attic and found them. Of course one of them had the Mrs. ex-Husbands name on them. When I set up the decorations it had a new label.

“Hi, my name is Len and I’ll be your Daddy this year.”

Initially went over like a lead balloon but now it’s tradition.

Here’s the view from my kitchen window
