Mr. Greta Van Susteren is one of…them!

Yep, John Coale, husband of Greta, is a PUMA, according to this WaPo article:

The Protectors of the Palin Brand

Coale, a well-known Washington lawyer and the husband of Fox News Channel’s Greta Van Susteren, drew national media attention when he endorsed Sen. John McCain’s presidential bid in protest of the way in which Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, who he backed in the primary, was treated.

And that’s not all. Greta’s dude is allegedly the power behind SarahPAC:

Coale, in an interview with the Fix, described himself simply as a “friend” of the Alaska governor but acknowledged that he suggested she start a leadership PAC and helped her navigate through some of the questions surrounding her family that lingered after the campaign. Others familiar with Palin’s political team insist that Coale has far more power than he is letting on—essentially helping to run Sarah PAC.

Andrew Sullivan wonders if Greta ever disclosed this connection as she relentlessly pimped the Palins. Good question, Sullivan!

Meanwhile, Palin might want to look into some job retraining opportunities. With a PUMA “protecting her brand,” her political stock is sure to plummet like a gut-shot goose. She won’t even win reelection.

I remember when Greta’s husband was skulking around the Republican convention spinning his “they left me, I didn’t leave them” shtick to any journalist who would listen.  I wonder if he ever trapped gimmeabreak in a corner when she was covering the RNC? “You don’t understand what I’ve been through!!!”

Ha, I missed the whole thing! I didn’t even know there was a Mr. Greta, much less that he was a PUMA and is now a purveyor of Palinitude.

Well, our PUMAs may be the crackiest crackpots we know, but outside of the freepers there is no more dangerous, batshit crazier group then the folks at WND ...

Here are the reasonable, rational, well thought out questions this gaggle of drooling imbeciles have prepared for our impostor-in-chief, read them and weep Hambeast, your crazy aint got nuttin on this kinda crazy ...

Aww shit, it appears Jenni and the gang have beaten me to the punch, a few questions posed to our (yeah right) “President” ..

How can you have gay crack sex and claim to be an American citizen?

Posted by WeimMom on Mar 03, 2009 09:59

If you are indeed eligible to be President, why won’t you provide the birth certificate and/or documents needed?

What was your relationship with Donald Young, Larry Bland and Larry Sinclair, (3) gay men from Chicago, (2) of which were murdered?

Why can’t you just stay the fuck home like regular Joe’s Mr. Obama?

Posted by grannieb on Mar 03, 2009 12:57

I would like to know if you feel that with the economy in such a bad state that you are having a few too many parties. The rest of us can’t afford all these parties and you need to just stay home like we do.

Why the fuck aren’t you doing what Limbaugh/Hannity/Beck say you should be doing you fucking usurper?

Why do you hate the U.S.A.?
Posted by duckhunter on Mar 02, 2009 18:15

On every issue you appear to have taken the pulse of conservatives and done exactly the opposite of what we would do.
We love the U.S.A, the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, and the rule of law. It appears that you hate them all. WHY?????

I too question where you were born but my biggest concern after that, is your ability to “lie” about all the wasteful spending in these bills and your failure to “line by line” (your words) to get rid of them and clean up Washington.

Where oh where is all this money coming from??? Are you and “your” cohorts all insane?

Back to the hot gay sex and smooth lip service (Chapstik in da hizzouse!)

Do you think Obama could give a speach without reading it word for word off of a teleprompter and actually look at people as he is giving the speach?
Will we ever get cold hard detailed facts or just smooth lip service?

Too. Much. Fun.

I wonder if Greta ever actually cries out “Todd!” when making love to her husband.

And I wonder if John does too…

I wonder if Greta ever actually cries out “Todd!” when making love to her husband.

It’s more like “Oh, oh, oh! OH! First DOOOOOOOD!!!”

BTW I signed up for e-mail alerts at SarahPac when it first started up just to see what they were up to.  So far I’ve gotten . . . exactly none.

And Humboldt your “shorters” up there are hilarious!

Nothing from SarahPac?  Don’t worry, I’m still getting emails from Team Sarah:

A message to all members of Team Sarah

President Obama has decided that if a doctor or nurse refuses to participate in procedures they believe are morally wrong, like an abortion, they can be punished by their employer.

We have just a couple of weeks to tell President Obama and HHS how horrified we are that he intends to take away the Right of Conscience for health care professionals.  By law, President Obama is required to open this policy change up to public comments for 30 days. Our time is almost up! Send your comments today.

Recently we received an e-mail from Mary, a health care worker and SBA List member, in Virginia, who told us,

“I can assure you that my colleagues and myself will leave the profession rather than be forced to participate in such activities…I will not go against the beliefs I have lived my entire life following. Our country already has a critical shortage of nurses, doctors, and technicians to care for the growing population who require experienced, dedicated workers to provide the extremely difficult and highly technical procedures available. We have to take an oath to ‘do no harm’ before we receive our license to work. I honor my promises, no matter the cost to me personally.”

Mary, we are with you!  We are shocked and heartsick about this.  Maybe others are too.  We are making our voices heard!

This does not apply only to abortion.  President Obama’s actions are a direct assault on the rights and freedoms of all doctors and nurses.

Click below to be taken to a page where you can tell the Obama administration to protect the rights of conscience for thousands of people like our friend Mary!

Make your voice heard.  Especially if you are a health care professional, but its best that they hear from as many of us as possible.

Doctors and nurses should not be forced to participate in abortions.

The deadline is fast approaching. Please make your voice heard now.

BTW I signed up for e-mail alerts at SarahPac when it first started up just to see what they were up to.  So far I’ve gotten . . . exactly none.

E-mail has a terrible bias against Palin. I signed up for them too and have been absolutely shocked to see that SarahPAC isn’t a raving success.

Marin, being the animal lover you are, the latest edition of the California Ag Alert (yeah, I read it motherfuckers, why are you laughing? Stop Laughing!)has a short but fascinating piece on a woman from Colorado and a prof at CSU and her work with animals.

Temple Grandin is her name and she’s worth reading about.

Sorry for the heavy threadjacking (TN Coates taught me what that was last week when I insulted his buddy Douthat)

Here’s a poll we probably won’t see on Fox or the PUMAdrone blogs any time soon:

Several post election polls have shown Sarah Palin as the Presidential nominee of choice for Republicans in 2012, but a new national survey from Public Policy Polling suggests that such a contest would result in the largest popular vote blowout since George McGovern ran against Richard Nixon in 1972.

Obama leads Palin 55-35 in the hypothetical contest. He has an 89-7 advantage among Democrats. Among Republican he trails 66-17. Last year exit polls showed Obama winning only 9% of the Republican vote, so it appears Palin would lose a lot more voters within her party than McCain did.

It’s also worth noting that while only 3% of Democrats are undecided about who they would support in an Obama/Palin contest, 18% of Republicans are, an indication of even more hesitation with some GOP voters about supporting Palin if she ended up as the nominee. ational_318.pdf

Palin 2012!!!1!

I wonder if he ever trapped gimmeabreak in a corner when she was covering the RNC? “You don’t understand what I’ve been through!!!”

I wish!  I don’t think at the time I knew much about Mr. Greta either.

Humboldt, Temple Grandin is great! She is the subject of Oliver Sacks’ An Anthropologist on Mars (her description of herself, a highly accomplished woman with Asperger’s). She wrote a really fascinating book on animal behavior, Animals in Translation.

Among other things, she examines the mess humans are making of animals by breeding for specific traits, despite the woeful side-effects. Example: Turkeys who are in pain from having legs which can’t support their weight, and will choose bad-tasting feed with painkillers over good feed without.

She loves cows—she identifies with them. She empathizes with them as prey animals. Yet she designs slaughterhouses—humane slaughterhouses. She said something like “being knocked on the head is a lot better than having your throat torn out by a lion.”

But something caught my eye in the article you linked to—something ominous:

She’s probably best known for designing livestock handling facilities with curved lanes that make use of cattle’s natural circling behavior. This design concept has also been applied to systems for meatpacking plants.

Curved lanes? Natural circling behavior? EGADS, U.N. HUTS were only the BEGINNING!!!1!
