Via NRO, a wingnut welfare case issues fair warning:

Advice For Liberals  [Jonah Goldberg]

I’ll be on NPR’s Weekend Edition tomorrow for a segment on giving advice to liberals now that they’re in power. It’s going to be light-hearted, I hope. Suggestions from readers welcome.

01/16 11:01 AM

Immediately after will be a segment featuring Michael Jackson dispensing advice on the proper management of daycare operations. It will be followed by Bill Kristol on how to become a modern day Nostradamus. Y’all be sure to tune in.

and then Dick Cheney comes on to dispense advice on firearm safety, right?

I wonder if NPR understands that “hey fascist, come over here so I can give you advice” is a poor marketing tactic.

Btw, I believe Jonah to be just bright enough to understand that he’s an idiot, but needs to feign intelligence.  Over the years he’s learned to ape the sounds people make when they do what they call “thinking.”

He’s also been the perfect symbol of the Bush years: someone who got his job because of his wingnut mommie.

A telling anecdote from Franken’s Lying Liars is when Goldberg was asked to be on an NPR show with Franken, Goldberg refused to do the show unless Franken was replaced.  NPR calls up Franken and explains that it’s hard to book conservatives, so he’ll have to bow out.

Long story short, it was around that time I stopped contributing to NPR.  I’ve always had contempt for Jonah, and that’s pretty much been unchanged over the years.

I wonder if Tim Geithner will be discussing the importance of paying one’s taxes…

Obama minus three days! Woohoo!

Fuck NPR,listen to this, it came out pretty good

No thanks, Jonah. I just read Cal Thomas’ advice to Obama and threw up my breakfast. Why do they even THINK they get to hand out advice? Since they know absolutely nothing about anything, it seems to me that they ought to STFU and go hibernate for about twenty years.

Jonah rides shotgun on a solid-gold gravy train.

At the LA Times, he gets paid to dumb down received wisdom. At NRO, he cashes checks after asking his readers to summarize books he won’t read.

Now he wants his fan-base to write material for a radio interview.  This latest appeal for aid-and-comfort was probably ghost-written for him.

Oh, pleeeeease, tell me what to do, Jonah!  You are a veritable font of wisdom and we need your advice, now more than ever!

I am really looking forward to seeing people like this in the soup lines in next great depression.  Kind of like Gonzoles who has a few years head start, but more pathetic and crazy.

Jesus BASE jumping Christ. I’d sooner take his advice on how to be a better lover.

“Step one: Make sure both hands are warm in case on gets tired.”

I think a commenter at alicublog put it best.  Jonah should just end every post with “Well, I’m done for the day.  You readers e-mail me some shit I can use.”
