Newt Gingrich Too Extreme for Pat Buchanan. No, Seriously.

On Tuesday’s Morning Joe, Load-Bearing Structural Wingnut Pat Buchanan accused Newt Gingrich of trying to out-loony Sarah Palin on the Right, and knocked him for invoking Nazi comparisons with the Cordoba Center.

This is, of course, the same Pat Buchanan who thinks there are too many Jews on the Supreme Court:

If Kagan is confirmed, Jews, who represent less than 2 percent of the U.S. population, will have 33 percent of the Supreme Court seats.

Is this the Democrats’ idea of diversity?

Question: Does Pat really think Newt’s out-of-line? Is he rankled that Newt’s doing his shtick? Or is he just peeved because Newt slammed Hitler?

“Load-Bearing Structural Wingnut”—teehee!

Pat is aces with Conservatards4SnowpackSnooki for dissing Newt—the enemy of their idol’s rival is their friend, I spoze.

Pat is critical because Newt is playing his end-game in the 2012 primaries right at the beginning and leaving so little ground for the rest of them to catch up to without sounding like the total lunatics that they are.  I mean, can’t we wait until we get CLOSER to reveal this stuff??!!?

Pat may be an antisemtic nut—but he’s got some (warped) ethics that creep up every now and then.  I suspect he’s genuinely offended here.

Somehow, I imagine Pat Buchanan’s house as filled with cardboard cutouts of Palin and Rachel Maddow and he whips himself (yeah, I said it!) into a frenzy trying to decide which one arouses/angers him more. Like Rupert Pupkin, only more disturbing.
