NFL Playoffs Open Thread

Looks like we might actually have a game now between the Vikings and the horrible, horrible Cowboys.* A welcome relief after yesterday’s two duds.  More importantly, we’ve got the Jets against the Chargers for the late game. Not sure how many football fans we have around these parts, but here’s an open thread. Have at it. GO JETS!

* Oops, spoke too soon. The game is now 17-3. Tony Romo is TEH SUCK.

I gotta go with the Chargers over the New Jersey Jets.

Just as long as the Cowboys get to suck it today. Suck it long and hard.

As a Giants fan, the one thing that gives me almost as much please as the Giants winning is the Cowboys losing, so I’m really enjoying this game so far.

And the great thing about being a New Yorker is having a backup team to root for. J-E-T-S!

So glad the Cowboys lost, but it makes the 2 consecutive losses to the by the Eagles even worse.  The Cowboys weren’t good, the Eagles just sucked greater ass.

Go Jets!!!!  I was a fan back when I lived in north Jersey and had a Namath poster in my room.

gimme - I actually met Joe back in the stone ages when I was a naive young flight attendant and lived in NYC.  He had a bar there (might still for all I know) and my roommate’s brother, a huge Namath fan, was in town and insisted that we go there.  It was so expensive we had to pool all our cash to afford a couple of beers to share but Joe was holding court hizzelf and we got autographs.  Don’t know what happened to mine - I think the hubbie has it stashed away somewhere.

This just in:

WOOT!!!

CAN I GET A FUCK YEAH!? ALSO!!!

More later.  Got celebratory texts to send to some friends, flamey texts to send to all my Patriot fan relatives in Boston.

woo hoo! that’s the most I can manage out of my rain-speckled cell phone at the moment. woo hoo!

So . . . who won?
