Nouns and verbs and stuff

Margaret Carlson tonight on Olbermann:

Keith, I don’t want to see a transcript of this interview. However, I think I have nouns, verbs, prepositions, and objects. And when you listen to Sarah Palin, these things are out of order. There are about five things she says: take the fight to them, mission, don’t blink, maverick, and he’s been fighting all these years for you.

Nailed it.

And Carlson’s tone was hardly snarky ... I’d say more like omg-type astonishment.

MORE (from Kevin K.): Here’s the video.  It should be noted that the segment is called “Baked Alaskan”...

I saw that piece. Carlson did seem more stunned that sarcastic.

PS: Carlson reminds me of Velma from Scooby Doo. I always expect her to say, “Jinkies!”

In the mean time, Bill Clinton is talking

I thought Bill sounded thoughtful and made a lot of good points.  And his continuing endorsement of Obama sounded pretty genuine.  It appears he doesn’t want to get out there and actively campaign (which he doesn’t have to anyway) but I really don’t think he wants to see Repubs in the White House anymore.  Despite also being pretty sick of Palin, I would love to see someone ask Bill his candid opinion of her and have him give it!  (I fear she’s not going away until Nov. 4)
