Oooo, SLAP!

As noted earlier, today the US Supreme Court told Orly Taitz to pay her $20K fine for clogging the courts with crazy. What’s that livid red welt on the Birfer Queen’s cheek? She’s glad you asked:

As she did last year, Taitz on Monday once again compared herself to Nelson Mandela. “Nelson Mandela was in prison for years, he went against the regime, but ultimately he prevailed,” Taitz said. The fine, said Taitz, “was means of intimidation and harassment.”

She vowed to fight what she said amounted to “a slap in the face of each and every American citizen.”

I’m glad Taitz eschewed The Bitterz most favored metaphor and didn’t say the Supremes “shoved the ruling down [her] throat.” It’s much trickier (not to mention fraught with peril!) to illustrate that than a slap in the face.

Still, it’s curious how often birfers and other, slightly less deranged Obama-hating dead-enders use the slapping and throat-shoving imagery. [Paging Dr. Freud. Dr. Sigmund Freud, please pick up the white courtesy phone.]

Now, she’s filing a write of Certiorari with SCOTUS (Surely, THAT will be the Magic Key that opens the Golden Door of Justice!) and requesting a hearing by the International Global Court of Human Rights of Earth, or whatever it is.

If she lives long enough, she may get to plead Her case before a Federation of Planets tribunal, which will promptly slap her down because the issue, in 2057, will be moot.

Well, she specified “an international court of Human Rights,” so yes, we have no guarantee that she’s referring to the Earthbound one.

I sincerely hope she’s not thinking of the UN Court of Human Rights, though. By all accounts, that really is jam-packed with commies.

A legal expert at Free Republic opines:

This is unchartered territory. No one knows what the outcome would be. The Constitution is not clear.

By my read Dick Cheney is now our President by law. The electoral college vote can’t be used as it is the fruit of fraud. George Dubya can not serve more than two terms. So it’s President-by-default Cheney.

Brit, the “Dick Cheney would be President” conclusion is my fave…closely followed by the “John McCain and Sarah Palin would automatically replace both Obama and Biden.”

They just can’t read—that’s the only possible explanation.
