Puppy Bowl V

In the Super Bowl thread, the estimable Mrs. Polly mentioned that while watching the fifth annual Discovery Channel/Animal Planet Puppy Bowl, the announcer subjected the viewers to this lewd comment:

It looks like Matilda has gotten herself stuck in a hound sandwich!

Which, of course, made me eager to flip to the Discovery Channel and ... you guessed it:

I watched some of Puppy Bowl V before the other game started, and it was adorable. Love watchcing puppies do their thing.

My only regret is that I missed the kitten half-time show.

K not K, I think you can go to YouTube and see highlights of all the Puppy Bowls. Every year it gets bigger and the production values are kicked up a notch.

The puppies are all available for adoption, BTW. The golden humping puppy sort of reminds me of Chris Matthews.

It’s funny, I’ve watched every Puppy Bowl, in past years the camera usually cuts away when one pup mounts another. I love Harry Kalas’ commentary on these shows.

Big Hollywood is the funniest thing on the web right now. I’ve blogged about it at least once and mentioned it in comments once or twice. Thanks for the link, that is totally typical of the quality of commentary over there!
