Quote of the Day

From Roy Edroso:

I doubt that the rightbloggers who are pretending to believe that the coverage of [James] O’Keefe’s legal troubles is the real crime here are very concerned with his hide. Hell, if he went to prison, that’d be holy martyrdom, no doubt attributable to the long reach of Eric Holder, and a great way to rally the troops.

His Voice column about O’Keefe’s arrest can be found here.

I have a question about another part of that article:

His crime is that he exposes the left for the cesspool that it is and negates and circumvents the well orchestrated propaganda machine that is supposed to protect these leftist twits and their agenda from being found out.

First, Leftist Twits and Their Agenda could be a decent name for an underground zine.

Second, we have an agenda? Ax, phone me, please?

That whole Ben Stein article reads like a parody.  That is really him, right?

Free James O’Keefe Now!

It’s so funny when Killer B-Actors attack.

Does anyone give a flaming damn about what Ben Stein thinks?

Anyone? ... Anyone?

It has been a lot of fun to watch the sudden outcry from the right at the notion that someone’s civil liberties might have been violated by not having a lawyer readily available.  You know, given that their standard response to such things is “taser the mofo and throw away the key.”
