Quote of the Day: Zandar

Zandar in his roundup of reactions to Rush Limbaugh getting punted from the NFL:

[T]he Corner’s Andy McCarthy blocks with his face to protect his QB with one of the most insulting comparisons I have ever read

Yes, McCarthy compared El Flushbowl to ... MLK.

I love this from Newell in the Wonkette comment thread:

The term “Peak Wingnut” has been thrown around a lot recently, as in, “have we reached Peak Wingnut yet with this latest insane thing?” It’s impossible. This dude is literally sad for the half-dozen rich hedge fund managers who refused a generous deal from the White House itself to renegotiate their Chrysler debt and sent the company into bankruptcy instead, to try to weasel out another cent or two on the dollar at the expense of like… peoples’ jobs and deferred benefits. These are the people whose victimhood a red state diarist is dedicating his sad holocaust poem to tonight. “Peak Wingnut” is a figment of your imagination.

“Peak Wingnut”.  It should be used often.  Also.

I should have used “blocking with his ass” instead but apparently the two are truly interchangeable.
