I think I hurt his feelings on the World Cup Finals thread. Hopefully, he will accept this earnest act of devotion/contrition from the assembled front-pagers. Without Kevin K., we are like a powerful, headless beast that can’t find the car keys or the bottle opener.

I’m sorry I didn’t comment on the open thread. I wanted to, really, especially since I love soccer and because I saw that there weren’t many comments on it. In fact, I always feel guilty when I see a thread up with zero or only a few comments and can only sit stupidly at my keyboard unable to comment. I just couldn’t think of anything funny or at all interesting to say. I’m sorry that I let that stop me on that occasion but as you can see I’ve turned over a new leaf.
