Repub Senators in a Tiff over Franken’s Failure to Absolve them for “No” Votes

You probably remember that Sen. Al Franken recently introduced an amendment to the Pentagon spending bill that would bar contractors from being awarded contracts if they won’t allow their employees to report crimes committed against them.  Franken has said that the amendment was inspired by the plight of a young woman who was gang raped, beaten and imprisoned by fellow employees and subsequently fired.  Although the amendment passed several Republican senators, naturally, voted against it.

Now these same A-holes are whining that they are getting a backlash for this vote and being portrayed as rapist sympathizers and, worst of all, MEAN OLD AL ISN’T STICKING UP FOR THEM!!

Where do these idiots even come from?

Back up. fReichtard Squawking Point #73,258(b) states the Dems were the party of wimpy girlie men.

I guess that makes this demonstration #158,205,589,879,442,020 of the fact that the GOP is filled with whiny arsed shit for brains who are too stupid to understand things like cause and effect, which, by the way, is something even cuttlefish can figure out.

Rapist coddlers.  Soft on crime.

It’s a real bitch when someone uses your own tactics against you, isn’t it GOPers?

Yeah, well do I remember how the other GOP senators leapt to the defense of Max Cleland, decorated Vietnam War veteran and multiple amputee, when that tool Saxby Chambliss implied that he was in bed with Osama bin Laden. (Well, actually I guess McCain and Hagel did, but that was about it, and none of them made a stink about the “Purple Heart band-aids” at the 2004 convention.)

Al Franken rocks. So glad I donated to him. Suck it, Jenni4Hillary!

Mar, by the way, it’s great that you’re out of the cast and into prime ass-kicking mode again!

Where do these idiots even come from?

Under a rock.

Rapist coddlers.  Soft on crime.

I prefer to use another of their delightful chestnuts in this case: they are objectively pro-rape.

The issue the GOP had with Franken’s bill was that it was supposedly written too broadly, and unfairly targeted a specific contractor (KBR). But rather than trying to work with Franken and the Dems on improving the language, they simply voted “no”.

And now they’re whining about “working across the aisle”? Fuck that.
