OK, Chris, I think we get the idea, but I’m not much keener on this effort of yours than I was about the “Did Glenn Beck murder etc etc.” meme that people tried to get going just recently, for quite similar reasons.

So there’s no need to repeat your comment and link about it on multiple posts.

They really don’t GET IT, do they? And they obviously never will. If DC Blogger is smart (and I think she is—and earnest), she’ll shop her talents around at another reasonably high-traffic blog (or one of those dreaded A-list ones) where her advocacy could have a far greater impact.

Kevin K: absolutely. I’ve hoped that DCBlogger would look at other blog venues for some time time now. I think she would be a good fit at either Open Left or FDL.

I also wanted to make a more general comment about the discussion at Digby’s place vis a vis Corrente. I get the feeling that justice was served today. Nice.

I guess there really is a self-correcting mechanism to the blogosphere.

Wow, I wasn’t following them back then. I don’t even know where to begin with some of that stuff.

And I’ve seen this malarkey about “O-bots” bringing up the Vince Foster “murder” during the primaries resurfacing again by The Relitigators. I searched DKos for instances of it and all I could find was folks countering bullshit Rezko and Ayers smears (read: that’s just as bad as the rightwing Foster stuff). Seriously, am I the only O-Bot who missed all of those “Hillary Killed Vince Foster!!!” diaries?
