Rogue Rage Week Palin Funnies Tuesday Morning Round-Up

Your job, should you choose to accept it, is to post some of the funniest stuff you found about Sarah Palin yesterday or this morning in the blogosphere. I’ll start:

  • Jim Newell’s live blogging of Palin on Oprah was one of his best (and most suicidal). Solid gold snark every two minutes or so. Check it out if you haven’t yet. Great from start to finish.
  • Gawker’s Alex Pareene did a pretty great job of live blogging the show as well.  This was my favorite:
4:54 “She’s not retreating, she’s reloading.” That is what dad said. Sarah Palin is concentrating on 2010, because obviously we will be dead, in 2012. Oh, and Trig will be in kindergarten. Space kindergarten, hopefully.
  • The real Corrente has uncovered the rejected Newsweek cover featuring Sarah Palin. It’s bloody good fun! I’ll take my “perky one” medium rare!

Okay, now it’s your turn. Get to it.

RELATED: I’m going to be MIA for most of the day, but when I get back I’ll post a list of all of the names we made up for future Palin kids during our pretty darn funny live blogging session.

The General has a review of Life Trig: Arrrrrrgh.

It’s compelling.

I was at work and missed all of the “fun”. You all did a great job with your live blogging. I was laughing out loud when I read it. I can’t wait to see the final list of names.

My contribution. ;-) (I just love the picture of Palin.)

Just read the Newell post. OMG HYSTERICAL. Thanks for the link, Kevin.

My contribution.  The nicest thing I had to say about Palin is “This lady is the largest case of walking cognitive dissonance I’ve ever seen.”  The rest.. Not so nice.

Good stuff, J and Tas!  We should start a list of blogs that would qualify for the Brotherhood of the Palin Misogyny.

Tas, I had not paid attention to her FB screed:

They’re now erroneously reporting on the book’s contents and are repeating many of the same things they spewed during the campaign and afterwards.

She should really refrain from using the words “spew” or “spewed” in a place where Rich Lowry might be masturbating lurking.

Are you implying that Lowry might have a twinkle on the tip of his Richard?

“LEAVE SARAH PALIN ALONE!”

There. I feel better now.

You can never have too much blingy for the American Talibunny.

Rush is interviewing Sarah right now. She wished him “Dittoes from an Alaskan.”

Her “substantive policy” stands appear to be “What Reagan did.”

American Talibunny

That is so much better than Bible Spice :-)

My favorite is over at Gin and Tacos.

If you are in a hurry, here is the succinct version of this review: Going Rogue is shit. It is groundbreaking in its banality and disregard for facts. If you are sentient, it will pain you to read it. Imagine watching your parents 69 one another while John Madden sits behind you and bellows out color commentary and you will have some idea of how excruciating and profoundly scarring it is to plow through each page of this wholly fictional monument to self-aggrandized mediocrity. Going Rogue is to the art of writing what the Holocaust is to the concept of a just God – the piece of disconfirming evidence so overwhelming that we are left questioning whether it can exist at all.
