Ron Paul Wins CPAC Straw Poll

With 2,395 votes cast: Paul 31%, Palin 7%.

And this is supposed to be the sane branch of the GOP. Giggity.

The “sane branch” of the GOP has entirely disappeared.  At least as far as CPAC is concerned.  I mean they’ve got people shouting each other down over whether gays should even be allowed to be there, racist rants against Obama, the John Birch Society as a co-sponsor and Glenn Beck as the keynote speaker.  Not sure where the “sane branch” of the GOP is these days but it ain’t hanging out at CPAC.

To be fair, while both Paultards and Teabaggers need medication, “I can has guns and Ayn Rand” is a whole lot less crazy than “keep the gummint outta ma medicare.”
