Rubestock Nation: Cap’n Crunch Cameos in God-Awful, Beck-Inspired Tea Party Music Video

“Grab your tea and come with me!” will never replace “Tin soldiers and Nixon’s coming.”

Everybody’s favorite flag-drag trans-Revolutionite Cap’n Crunch appears at 1:04, 2:26 and 3:45 (if you make it that far).

“Volunteers” posted below the fold, for purposes of historical contrast…and to annoy any wingnut lurkers. Our music/funk kung-fu is still better than theirs, and always has been.

Truer words were never spoken! I could only endure 29 seconds of Hoop’s mega-suck production (no Cap’n Crunch for me), but Jefferson Airplane has been rocking for 41 years and counting.

Also, anything that is “inspired by Glenn Beck” (unless it’s a vicious parody or a line of novelty barf bags, of course) is doomed to maximum suckitude before the first frame is recorded.

Betty, our music destroyed them once, and it can destroy them again.

The Tea Party movement is foredoomed by many factors, but their lack of style alone would be fatal.

Oh, Snap!  I could only stomach 12 seconds.  That SUCKS!

At least the Young Cons have the ‘So St00pit It’s Funny’ thing going.  I could tell from the get-go that was going to be chock-a-block with idiot-icy.

Double Dammit.  Curiosity got the better of me and I went in for a second look.  I should have gone with my first instinct…

Wow, just wow.

Our music/funk kung-fu is still better than theirs, and always has been.

That’s because the DFHs kidnapped and brainwashed all the talented artists.

No, wait. The DFHs don’t have real jobs so they have plenty of time to create music and smoke pot all day.

Um…Oh! I know! The Entertainment Industry discriminates against Conservatives!

It’s one of those. I’m sure of it.

Long ago I decided that if God’s team was the Christian musicians than I didn’t want to be on God’s team…

I got farther into it than Betty but not even close to that far.  Do these people look at their end product with any degree of critical judgment?
