Samantha Power on the Colbert Report
Samantha Power made her first TV appearance after the overblown “Hillary is a monster” brouhaha last night on, of all places, The Colbert Report. Both of them handled it well, talking primarily about the subject of her new book, Sergio Vieira de Mello. What an exceptionally classy and smart woman. Hopefully we’ll be seeing a lot more of her soon.
Stephen Colbert, as usual, is funny as hell: “Do you want to clarify what kind of monster, while we’re here, by the way? [...] What about a good monster like Cookie Monster?”
