Oh lord. Sarah can’t Tweet or open her trap without lies blorting out.
To repeat what I said before. George Bush signed the law that said the tax cuts he *shoved down our throats* by passing them through the Senate using reconciliation would expire in 10 years. Obama and the Dems are not plotting to raise taxes in 4 months. George Bush and the Republicans plotted to raise taxes 4 months from now unless Congress proposes legislation not to raise them. And everything they’ve said on the subject indicates there is no plan to let the cuts expire for any group but those in the top brackets.
But even if our dysfunctional Senate failed to act on this and all the tax cuts did expire* it would still not be a Dem proposal. It would still be the result of a Republican proposed, passed and enacted bill.
*This would actually not surprise me. I never thought they’d let the estate tax go into the limbo we currently have but, silly me, thinking the Senate was, at bottom, a rational institution, they did!!
