Saturday Afternoon Music: OK Go’s “This Too Shall Pass”

Normally I don’t like posting videos that have already gone wildly viral and the song doesn’t do a helluva lot for me, but none of the generally plugged-in semi-geeks I was out drinking with last night had seen this new entry from the band who delivered one of the best music videos ever and it just flat out fucking rocks in a million different ways, so here you go. Those guys did that video all in one take, which is absolutely astounding. Of course, their little brother didn’t steal one piece from their playset, tell them he’d stolen it, and not tell them which one, so that they had to build the entire thing just to see what was missing.

And what was wrong with “Frogs?” We got huge traffic from “Frogs!” Unfortunately, it was from “Frogs” and not to “Frogs.” But I thought it was great! How many pop artists can throw the word “nictitating” into a lyric, much less have it scan?
