Screw politics—it’s puppy time!

My litter of boxer pups is 8 days old. Still working on that BoxerCam option, but really there’s not much action right now. Their eyes are still closed, and all they do is poop, pee, sleep and fight over teats. (Hmmm, sounds like some subsets of human society I could mention but won’t…)

The only thing that seems to rouse the pups from their torpor is when someone attempts to take a still photo with a crappy camera phone. A few of the least blurry shots are below the jump.

Here’s one of the little buggers sleeping. Notice that the puppies decorated the walls of their kiddie pool home green in solidarity with the Iranian protesters.

Oh hey, look! This one is also asleep!

This concludes our morning dose of cute. Carry on.

I wish I was closer!  I would come and get one from you.

Have to agree, it’s a good thing California is soooo far from Florida. Hard to resist that much cute. It’s almost enough to counteract “Ann Coulter for Free” looming ominously, directly above [shudder].

Little pink feet.

Blecchhh, my heart just liquified and dripped onto my liver. This is going to be a horrible clean-up.

Thanks a lot.

Puppy-cam? Well, HOW LONG before we get our Puppy-Cam?

Life’s a bitch. And then you have puppies.

This blog has gone to the dogs.

Get on that Puppy Cam, woman!

baby dogs! cuteness! And all brindle-ish, too. Take lots of pictures because they grow up fast and change so much in such a short time. Have you promised all of them out already?

Our next-door neighbor (when I was a young girl) had a sweetheart of a boxer, named Muggs. It suited him perfectly. I have always had a soft spot for them. But we have a foxhound beagle and two cats, so no mo pets for us!

Boxers are lovely people and such cute puppies. We do really need that puppy cam. They’ll be all grown up, going to college and getting their own places in no time.

my heart just liquified and dripped onto my liver.

Liver, ah yes, fond memories. Strange and I are using the same one now, and boy is that inconvenient.

Scooter, those must be some heroic enzymes in there. If bottled, that would be one hell of a powerful formula.

Also, a prime example of circularity.

I hope you’ll consider at least not selling the patent to Big Pharma but letting the little people benefit.

I’m sure you will—you’ve both been very generous when it comes to organ-sharing.
